ONSC USFS Work Day

Similar to years past, we will be having an ONSC-specific work day Saturday Dec 3 during this event. We will be working on Dickey Bell and Wolf Den doing the following:

1. Clean up brush in/next to trail
2. Pick up trash
3. Clean water out of tail ditches
4. Drain standing water pools where they're seen

We will be maintaining a sign-up sheet that will be submitted to Terry for credit. We are meeting at 9:00am at Hunt Camp!

December 3rd, right? Being Captain Obvious here, but....

Any Ashevillians going to this that could Mudship a snorkel back and maybe a CDL switch? I would love to go but headed to ATL for the weekend.

@tnkayaker @jdayment

I am not I was going to try and arrange someone to bring back an awning if they make it up as well or anybody in the upstate crowd that might be going.

I am planning to attend Saturday and should have room! Whom am i getting them from?

Would you happen to have room for a foxwing awning as well? :)
Not sure....I've been asked to bring back two of the foxwing's as well as some coolers by someone local. Driving my Avalon....it's got a lot of room but not sure how big these items are.

A pick axe comes in VERY handy when draining standing water at Uwharrie. I will be bringing mine and a shovel.

Due to family issues, pet issues, and health issues, our plans have slightly changed. We will be there for the workday on Saturday and the Christmas party that evening but we will have to leave after the party. So, one of us won't be drinking (much).
It will still be great to see you and Linda.

The foxwing will be pretty long, approximately 2.5 meters or 8.2 ft in caveman.

With coolers and those awnings I think you are going to be full.

Eric is just going to mail the CDL switch.

Been working 10-13 hours a day for the last month, including 4 separate trips to Chicago, and wasn't sure if I would be in the Eastern time zone at the end of this week, but I'm pretty hopeful that I can make it this weekend. If I do, it'll be Saturday morning. Hoping to be able to camp and leave Sunday morning, but may have to leave Saturday night if I need to work on Sunday.

The rotomold coolers are in, but unfortunately, the awnings won't clear Customs until next week. I'll double check, but I think I'm bringing 5 coolers for @pawwright, @S.CarolinaFZJ80, & @the gimpey one.
