We are getting close to the Christmas Party out at Kenny and Lydia's barn at Uwharrie.

Post if you are able to make it, how many will be coming with you (adults vs kids) and what day you will be arriving.

This year will be a chili cook off! Please sign up for food Saturday (chili and/or sides) as well as for breakfast on Sunday.

For work, we have a Uwharrie Workday on Saturday, so please plan on attending. @fourtrax may be able to get us some detail on what we will be doing.

Rumor has it we'll also be doing a mini-HAMOM on a certain 80 in the club. Details to follow :D

Finally, we'll need more firewood cut, so we'll make sure the log splitter is there. I'll bring my saw. @erymer if you wouldn't mind bringing yours that'd be awesome :D

What food should you bring, or want to sign up for the cook-off? Check here!!

1. Clean up brush in/next to trail
2. Pick up trash
3. Clean water out of tail ditches

We will be maintaining a sign-up sheet that will be submitted to Terry for credit. We are meeting at 9:00am at Hunt Camp!

Description of our "Dirty Santa" gift exchange!

Gifts range between $10-$20 or can be something from your collection, serious or funny. It's anonymous and those who participate get their names put in a hat to be drawn. When your name is called, you grab a gift.

The gifts can be stolen twice though before then end up with their final owner.

Example: Adam picked a gift and its a toyota gift card...... Johnny's name is drawn later and he instead of picking a wrapped gift steals adams gift..... then adam has to pick a new gift or steal from someone else.

After any gift has been stolen a second time it is locked in an stays with that owner.

Past funny gifts have included.... the karmapooptra book, the gift that every girl wants (chosen by Jerry for some reason), a pink poncho, twighlight poster

Serious gifts have been, toyota gift card, toyota trail team swag, cruiser parts, best buy gift cards.

This is totally optional and spouses and guests not in the club can participate also, all you need is to bring a gift!!!

@Mtbcoach Jerry needs to post a picture of the gift that every girl wants.

I'll be there with 2 kiddies in tow.
Got a nice saw I can bring along.
Planning Friday evening as long as the old girl holds together this time.

I'm in , coming Friday.

Your wife seemed really nice when I met her, but not sure if she's going to like the description used. :)
You know, i think you're the only person in the club that old girl has ever met. Until I'm driving an Earth Romer, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to drag her along to one of these events.

I'm planning to be there, probably solo.
I'll have Rotel for Sat. night and some shrimp and grits for breakfast.

I will be there ready to cut some wood.

It's me, it's me!

Hey guys,

The Yeti has me motivated to get some work done on Logan's 80. I will start a thread, once I can get pics, but there are 3 items.
1. Install rear bumper - also donated by the Yeti
2. Replace rear lift hatch handle - JC gratuitously picked up for me at FAT
3. Replace interior door panels - donated by DeeRex

I will try and get my pics and thread started on Sunday... or Monday
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lydia is bringing her usual pot of Brunswick stew and she requested that she be a judge for the chili cook off.
I'm sure she will be bringing a ton of other things too!

Looking forward to seeing everyone and Dirty Santa! That's always a lot of fun...:santa:

I will be there ready to cut some wood.
 I will bring an extra first aid kit, sir.

I'm going to try to come up Friday night but will have to leave Saturday night after supper and gift exchange. Sorry for asking what is probably obvious to everyone else... I typically just use a stove for cooking chili; I know @Brock put a Lodge directly in a campfire. How is everyone planning to cook their's with limited cooking resources?

@CharlestonG8R Either make it at home and reheat in crockpot during workday or stovetop afterwards. Bring a camp stove. I'll try to make sure there are a few extra stoves but can't guarantee anything yet. Feel free to make it on site if you think you'll be back to the barn in time.

There is plenty of counter space and lots of outlets.

I've been intending to buy a camp stove... It occurred to us that we could have used one during the utility outage after Hurricane Matthew. The BGE was fired up, of course, but it's not exactly portable... Anyhow, I've been eyeballing your recommendation of purchasing one like Eric Forrest's. The model name/number escapes me because I'm really old.

Anyhow, I digress, and sorry for boogering up an otherwise exciting and straight forward Christmas Party thread.

I can bring mine , for others to use .

I can also bring a camp stove if wanted - got a Camp Chef 2-burner, etc.

I will bring a charcoal table and both dutch ovens for warming up chile. You can stack dutch ovens about 4-5 high, btw :)

We would probably come down first thing SAT and leave after Bfast SUN. I will try to get a headcount - hard with the 18/13 year olds :\
