I think the crockpot is the best way to keep things warm and ready

If there is plenty of electricity, I would prefer a crock-pot :)

It is my plan to be there for Sat., solo. I would be happy to volunteer as a cook-off judge.

Bringing an offensive amount of bacon to cook up Sunday. :)

The amount of bacon it would take to offend me......I'm not sure it can be quantified! Would love to see pics of this. Hope to attend Saturday for the afternoon/evening. Possibly with a few other ONSC members from Greenville!

@jimsmith1370 you might not wanna bother with a small saw. The trees are huge and probably require the pro stuff that Sean, Eric and Johnny have. They'll just tear up homeowner grade saws. One of them will confirm this.

I'll put y'all on the chili list. Looking forward to it!

I'm thinking something like this......But better beer

Yeah most of the trees we will be cutting are quite large. I'm bringing a Stihl 036 with a 20 inch bar and a couple pro chains. There is plenty of work there even if your not cutting though.

We'll have plenty of chainsaws to get the work done. My MS290 and Eric's 036 tore through something crazy like 14 logs in a weekend. We really need people to run the splitter(s) and stack the split wood.

EDIT: @erymer beat me to it

@alk747triodad can we have more than one splitter there this year?

I can run the splitter. We should be there Friday night. Just can't guarantee anything yet.

nothing gets this club more excited than playing with someone else's wood. :hmm:

I am amazed at the enthusiasm to cut, split, load, haul, stack, and repeat firewood. We will never turn down offers to work on our firewood pile. I will bring the Ford to our Toyota party to do the grunt work. ;) I will also have the other splitter but might have to include it on my Hamom list. Thank you everyone but please, try to make the work day, ride the trails, or just kick back and enjoy the URE forest.

I won't be there till Friday night this time around.
