I've been wanting to do this since I saw it on box rocket's build. Made a stencil on label paper and sprayed it on. Need to fine tune it a little, but I love the way it looks on the black wheels.

Looks like I may have found what was causing my fusible link to blow.
I always wanted to learn how to weld. And now I know. I had to file down the metal to get the wires separated from the gauge cluster and then coated it with some spray bed liner. Between this and the new connectors with two layers of shrink tube, I should be good to go.

Well, it's not really on the Land Cruiser, but it will make pieces for the future. My buddy Kyle was here over the weekend he started plasma cutting the double oven.
Well since I've been driving around for like a year with out the winch hooked up in true mall crawler fashion. I figured it was about time.
Used the antenna switch and ran the power through a second switch to make it harder to accidentally hit. I am wiring In a Wireless controller also that I will plug in when needed. I have heard mixed reviews on wireless because of interference.

Finally finished up installing a new stereo and door speakers. Best $160 I have spent on upgrades lately. Easy and I didn't realize how much I missed a good stereo in the 80.
On a side note, $100 buys you a lot of stereo nowadays.

And today, started on my hitch mod (thanks Rob for the insight and metal), and am painting my grill (thanks Kelly for the parts at a good price to make up for my mishap).

I'm heading down to smorr on the 20th. There is small group form stl coming. Mostly h3's and couple of 4runners. I'm staying the night and heading back on Sunday. This one of two weekends without any events down there.

I gave the old girl some much needed love this weekend. She treated me right when we were at Tuttle so I figured I'd clean her up as if i were gonna put her up for sale.
Added some vinyl "flare"...some will hate it, some will like it. I like how it turned out.
