I was reffering to the orange and white neck turner ! I kind of want one though.
Ohh yeah. Foo is looking awesome! Just a few more items to button up and she will be rolling south.

Do you have a cloth top or something for it so you can go snowman killing in the winter ?

Not yet. Looking for a contact that wants to take that project on. <<<SET A BROTHER UP>>>

To be honest, I am watching for Volvo portal axles as the next big upgrade. Linked with 37" of meat.

I would say that is the 5 year plan -- for now.

Now I have to put on a clean shirt after all the drool just thinking about those with Marlin Crawler low range gear.

gotta have a dream....

and a new shirt!

I was drooling over this one when it was for sale. Very cool....

That is an awesome truck, and George (the original owner/builder) is an awesome guy, too.

Having a good parts rig to swipe pieces from is nice. Thanks Kelly!

2fpower , when are you going to do a 3link on your truck??? That would be awesome.
Jack,
When are you going to get your rig out and play hard with us?

Ah man, whenever I pass the 7! Erik and I are planning on a trip to kansas rocks during their Halloween crawl if you guys want to join! Now I know mine won't be wheeled as hard as you guys but damnit, it's one heck of a mawl crawler. (I've come to terms with the fact it won't see 70% of what y'all can do)

How'd lexi do out at SMORR?

Hey Rob, I'll get cash up to Kelly this weekend for the birf I "borrowed" and the seal from the kit. Will pay for Toyota OEM on that one.

Just scrolled up, what happened to her?
Turns out that 12 inch diameter trees growing out of a stream bank are stouter than an ARB bumper even if the bank is undercut below the tree quite a way.

:hillbilly: redneck lumberjack at your service :hillbilly:

Also terminal birf situation late Sat night turned out to be a missing caliper bolt. All caliper bolts were pulled, dabbed with blue threadlock and retorqued. Lexi is alive and well.

Oh man, that sounds like it hurt. Do share some more pics when you get a second. That bumper has lived through the apocalypse haha

Well that ARB bumper did not fair as well as you believe. It actually got pushed back 3 inches into the wheel well causing tire rub when loaded on that corner. :bang:
I'm not sure if the lens broke due to tree root poking through the ARB hoop or if the hoop actually impacted the lens. 100 yards or so down the trail we found a mighty oak tree about 3 feet in diameter and with a couple of tree straps pulled the bumper to original lines by backing up.:grinpimp:

Now that's a story you can tell the 80 that comes after Lexi!

How fast did you hit this root?

I will never part ways with Lexi.

How fast did you hit this root?

Just crawling at 1 or 2 mph. The undercut bank had collapsed and Lexi was at the bottom of a creek wedged between 4' vertical wall on one side and 2' vertical on the other. I could not turn the wheel so either myself and the 3 rigs behind had to back out (they may have been taking the off camber line) or I could press forward and push the mostly dead tree with undercut root system down. We were 5 minutes into a night wheeling run and I don't think anyone had their camera out. CCSTEEL's daughter was in the back seat and loved the action. She was begging me to find a similar opportunity for destruction the rest of the night.
