Does everyone want to do a potluck Friday night or just do our own thing individually? I'm good either way just trying to plan out my meals.
 
Does any have an early (93-94) FZJ wheel and a 255/85 tire they wouldn't mind parting with for some $? I need a 2nd spare.

Tire, perhaps, rim, no. My trailer is running 255/85's on Yota rims to match my '94. I've always wanted to swap out the tires to match the 285/75's on the truck to essentially give me two more spares if the emergency arose. Let's talk next weekend. The brand is Trailcutter that the PO of the trailer put on the trailer to match his 80. I'd guess the tires on the trailer have no more than 5k on them.

I always seem to cook waaay more food than I need so some sort of pot luck is great with me.

Plans changed guys and I am going a different "route" that weekend. Looking forward to catchimg up with everyone next time!

Sounds good. I was going to bring the smoker but am having 2nd thoughts since it requires hours of babysitting and I just want to enjoy the trip. I will bring some extra Teriyaki skewers and potato salad.

Any objections to pushing back departure from Christmas Circle to 11:00 to allow a few more folks from the Expo board to join the caravan from Borrego Springs down to the Split Moutain road checkpoint? Got at least one or two joining Boyd and me at Ortega Hwy for the drive over and a few of their gang is meeting in Julian a 10 that they want to hook up with.

11:00 works for me. I plan on being there between 10:00 - 10:30 to top off the fuel and grab a burrito or something for lunch.
 
Do we know where the camp will be? I assume close to BLM land as there will be shooting.
 
Brent, is the meeting time off Ortega still 7?

Ok - when I first saw the link it had said 2011, so I figured maybe you'd gone last year and were thinking it would be in the same place this year. I see the link now says 2012! Nuf said! :hillbilly:
