Looks like Debbie will be the next to cave. It would like really being on vacation for her not having to take care of Chris the whole time....:)

Don't think you are going to talk her off the beach this year...

Sand Gravity has gotten me! Not going anywhere!

that sand gravity is nasty stuff.........fyi.......it gets worse when you add alcohol........but then again you probably knew that.

You do have to take special precautions! But so long as you respect the GREEN, all should
be copestitic. It's a true phenominan for me but I don't want to get up....you would all be amazed atmy ability to do nothing!

I hate sand unless I am peeling out on it.

That's because of your oh so fare skin or you just aren't a beach bum.....(read u are a fidgeter and can't drink a case without moving and pondering the vastness of the Gulf or reading an entire book in a day)

Den Mom Deb and Chris were either born with that gene like me or have developed it over years of having kids and a tiruah buzines:grinpimp:

Very observant Grasshopper. Very observant.

Sitting still for me is only possible with a very thick book dealing with people double tapping people.....

Hot Damn!

hi light of my trip!

trailer blew up tires about 2HRS away from Brownsville

unload my 80 at a friend's house and carry on to the Round Up

went up a hill and dented the passenger door! Chris this hurt like your 40

the spotter (Daryl) got so thrilled that I was lined up and almost out of the hill which forgot the passneger side.

My son Fernie the lil' one, said "oops dad, think we hit somethin!

that was funny!

not to mention all the s*** that kowboy gave me for hittin the 80

they gave me s*** for not having sliders but the slider would not help much!

oh and something about Kowboy wanting to joining this club and taking over after Bodean's term as President!

I guess no re-election for Bodean!

...and of coarse, Slick Willy(Bodean) came up w/ a good one!

Kowboy needs to own a toyota to join, which he does not have

how about that?

great trip, great people!

The rest of the Cotton Landers were certainly missed!

Kowpoke is already a president of a club.
Kowboy needs to buy a Toyota 4x4.
We have a president.
We also have a God, Bossman.

Well I learned some things on this trip boys and girls..

It is possible to get kicked out of a raffle..

Jrob's 40 is slower than a woman's sex drive..

The purdy truck defies the laws of physics and will not roll... even with the new technique of using the " push " strap.
Purdy truck even messed with Bodean enough on that obstacle to convince him that the purdy truck wants an Orion. Bodean will oblige.

It's possible to slide down into a V notch, go back and forth in it, and not get a scratch.

The Spotting Team of Daryl and Georg make us feel like we can climb, crawl, bump over anything. My hats off to you guys :D
When we didn't have em we defaulted to ..."Just go straight."

Greenfox has the best pick up line..... ever! it may even get ya married. At the very least you'll get some pizza ;)

The Baker family needs to be at every event we go to and not one of em should be stopped by having their pets along for the ride, needs to be in the by laws. Bodean make a shirt at least ..Always a pleasure to hangout with you guys!

Charles rig flat out gets it and makes me ( with the generous help of the spotting team -see above) look like I know what I'm doing. He is also the best rock stacker I've seen. I think its in his genes. He damn near built a wall for the purdy truck

Josh's rock limo flat out gets it . I never thought that 136 inch wheelbase would flat out spank those rocks. He made Hannibal Lecter his Beeeeoootch. No fava beans needed. sent the expensive buggy boys home with their tailpipes between their tires ;)

The skeleton crew of cottonland cruisers of Jrob, Bodean, Daryl and myself had to make up alot of carrying on to fill in for our ever missed crew.
Just imagine how much we had to drank just to make up for Chris, GT and Spivey alone !
Thankfully we had a number of members from the White Trash crew join Cottonland to help out. That saved me a hangover and I am grateful.
I think we would have had at least one more new cottonlander if that guy owned a toyota :p

Daryl looks great in a Cottonland shirt btw. the chics were a droolin'

The gilmore is still in full force..

Good times :beer::beer:

Oh and Last but not least.......

I still got it :grinpimp:

Great post Lenny! Could not have said it better myself. Both Cottonland trucks did great and I still can't figure out why Bodean's truck pulled that stunt.

Jrobs rig did really well and just needs a few minor tweaks to be completely awesome. Thanks for letting me spend so much time behind the wheel! I particularly enjoyed testing it's ability to descend scary high ledges (steep enough to incite a bit of fear in Georg when spotting me down :) )

Best of all....Randy and Shane are coming to the Crawl in October! This should be a hoot!

Thanks to all for the ride, food, beer, entertainment, pick-up lines, dirty jokes (particularly enjoyed by Randy's grandmother) and all the other forms of entertainment that will go unmentioned here. Another experience not soon forgotten!

Gotta love the Bossman! Jrob had his own personal pit crew on this trip. 2 broken spring pins in one day! Good thing the boy carries extras. Georg and Charles were a blast. Just the name calling on the trail was worth the price of admission. I laughed more on this trip than I have in a long time. Didn't get mad one time (Greg and Chris).

Jrob and I didn't know what we were going to get out of this trip since we didn't see a lot of the park last time but let me tell you there is a lot to see and do. Had a blast with you guys!

To the Lone Star guys, Great event as always. Good food, band, raffle and party!

Forgot about this
FYI
Don't mess with Daryl's power steering cap trail fix on el torro... HE is VERY proud of it!

I personally think it should be a permanent fix because bossman may tear someone elses head off besides mine :lol:
