to sum it up: i had a really good time. it was good to get away from all the personal termoil in my life and just have a good time for a few days. i feel recharged.

i'm hoping to see more cottonlanders and white trash at the scc in 6 months. i'll be there for sure with charles. i'll also be back at K2 next year, plan on towing my own junk out there for the first time. tired of towing everybody elses' junk half way across this continent. lenny, hush!

thanks for letting me hang with you guys, letting me drink your beer and eat your food, letting me spot you up obstacles you might not try on your own and for the good times.

i appreciate it all!

:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

If not, I can't make any promises ;)

It's a long time to K2 2012, gonna be hard to stayed zipped...

You are too kind Georg. As always, it was great to see you and Charles again and also great to meet green fox (Ryan). Strangely I want some pizza now....

As most of you know, Georg is the consummate trail guide. His spotting skills are some of the best I've seen and I believe he could fix any truck with the wave of his hand if need be. If ever in a situation where you have the opportunity to have Georg as you spotter I can say with complete confidence that you can relax and enjoy the ride. The guy is amazing

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the confidence shown in me as I spotted some of you guys through some stuff you were not entirely comfortable with. (Especially after our little push rope incident with the Purdy Truck!) I'm still a little tired and sore as I don't get around as well as I used to but would not trade those few days for anything! Thanks Jrob, Bodean, Lenny, and the whole Lone Star bunch!

BTW - don't mess with my power steering field repairs. Right Lenny?:o

Trails will be much easier in Moab so hopefully you can drive without someone pointing the way. We have lots of ground to cover :)

My buggy is built by Polaris.

Polaris makes nice equipment. What I run in my pool.

Yeah, watched several rolling videos from Moab today. All on Moab rim entrance...

Lenny, don't hate the Polaris just because it had more horsepower than your cute Zuk

I wasn't hatin' I was laughing.

The Polaris is about as heavy as my Zuk ; ) . The Polaris can do about 60 so can the Zuk .
Don't get all defensive about the RZR I like em too.

I just couldn't fathom going from a twisted custom buggy to a Polaris . That's like going from a nitro RC car to a hotwheel.

Again I ain't hatin just saying .

Twisted custom buggy was saweet!

thanks bud!
i used to enjoy spotting people thru obstacles a lot cause it was just another aspect to wheeling i thought of as a challenge. it does'nt matter how built or stock a rig is, finding a challenging spot and getting them thru it can be more fun than driving your rig thur an obstacle imho.
when i went blind in my left eye 6 years ago my depth perception went to hell and for a couple of years i had a tough time picking a line. did'nt matter if it was for myself driving the rig or trying to spot somebody. luckily i've been able to adjust and get my confidence back so now i don't mind doing it more often. i really appreciate you guys letting me spot you thru some stuff. just like the act of driving offroad itself, recoveries and spotting are a big part of wheeling for me and the aspects of our sport that i enjoy the most.
however, i also enjoy watching others spot rigs thru tough spots. people like daryl in particular. it's an easy way to hone your skills and learn what to do and what not to do. one of the things i've learned is that you need the drivers confidence, you need to make sure that they have eye contact with you as much as possible. when that's not possible. they have to be able to see your signals and last but not least, DO NOT OVER_SPOT. there's no need to warn somebody about every pebble, just the parts of the opbstacle that will cause the vehicle to shift from it's current position.
alright, enough rambling.....

i had a large time!
