Maybe it won't be wet next year and we can do The Wall at Poughkeepsie. You all did great on the trail- even the stockers did great ( I was worried there a few times). Btw, have you seen the Alaska Trek post? Talk about drive....

I need to upload the mud bough videos from that spot at the Engineer pass turn off. Makes me giggle.
You weren't worried before we hit the trail... LOL "oh you'll be fine." LOL

Also the only dude with a snorkel and a sparkling black shiny rig talked us into plowing through the mud hole at speed "aww its not deep" - "you wont get stuck" - ha ha

The last time I did it I was finding mud in interesting places for months. Thought I would let you all share in the experience. Someone had to film. ;). The vids in slow mo are awesome.

We will be hosting Hundreds in the Hills in 2016 as well. As mentioned, we wanted to merge the two events together and instead of having 100's in the Hills, followed by 2HIH the next week, we thought it would flow much better and reach more sponsors/vendors/attendees, if we'd hold them together and change the name/logo for HIH6. It looks like we'll be either July 29-31, or Aug 5-7.

We have some great stuff in the works and would love it if you guys joined us. We're working on the logistics/permits right now.

How about posting those slo-mo vids? :)

It would be cool to get the 100 Series and 200 Series guys together (maybe even an 80 guy). It looks like we even have some 100 guys with 200s or that used to have a 100. We will definitely be doing HIH in 2016, this could be a big year getting 200 guys involved, as well. Very cool. I forsee an pretty awesome raffle!

The drive for me, is that the 200 group is relatively small. I think adding more 100s and 80s to the mix will really slow things down, and crowd the trail. Keeping it small helps build bonds between the guys on the trail; get too many people there, and that is lost.

you cannot duplicate the ORIGINAL - plus those other vehicle are inferior and will slow my bad ass rig down - is that what you really wanted to say?

FJ summit dates are released and it doesn't conflict with our dates.

UPDATE: Aug 5-7 2016 Ouray, CO

Alright boys and girls I want to start getting some dates down as I already have some summer commitments popping up on my calendar. Also my daughter starts preschool next fall so Labor Day won't work next year.

I'm thinking late July or early-mid August.

This past year was awesome so I basically expect the same! :)

I'm in! Looking forward to seeing everyone again! Hopefully I can bring the wife and maybe some or all of the kids this time around.

I'm flexible, but would prefer mid-to-late August.

Lets keep it non-corporate...

I always going to cancel if you weren't in... My rig should be neck to neck with yours by then! Lol I think we're set for early August due to school schedules late August/early September.

Ok, so I could not do the slow-mo on you tube and show all 5- 200 Series in a brief video. It was Labor Day and not Memorial Day- doh. But here you go- regular speed:

And for those who will be looking at this thread- and wanted to get a teaser for what it was like last Labor Day weekend- I'm posting this up. I think I had it in the 2015 Ouray thread- so might as well post here.

Thanks @BTUMAN. It was Labor Day weekend. I think @Canyonero also had his GoPro on. I have yet to see his version.

I'm tentatively in. Late July or August is good timing IMO. We were there in the Taco for Independence Day the last two summers. Black Bear was still snowed in both years. We made it to just above the Wall on Keepsie in 14 and just below in 15. I'd really like to do BB. I'll stay tuned for the final decision on dates.

^dates for next year are August 5-7, 2016.

Hey Y'all...

Is this trip something you have to register for? -I mean... do they regulate how many vehicles are on this road? Just curious, as I'd really like to join you guys and thought I'd better check... I know many wilderness areas require permits for backpacking, etc...

What say ye?
