2008-2009 LC Navigation Delete

I just finished the pinout for new plug F10 and the g1 clock plug. I went through the 2009 FSM and have determined this will do away with the Multi-Display. The F11 is the hazard switch and may require a wire or two but it will be hard to tell until you pull it apart. Please go through this and check my work. This will leave a gaping hole where the navigation was. This will leave the radio plugs to deal with. I think using plug F1 and F19 you can do what you want with the radio. This will disconnect any rear entertainment. I think even at this point once the climate is good you could find a car audio shop to make it all work. With the two plugs F1 and F19 and a backup camera I think it can be done with a Toyota harness you would just need to find the right one. Here are what the plugs look like.

Good deal. I just compared the 2002 radio wiring to the 2009. Looks like they are just about the same and the new head unit can be connected with a Metra harness and get all the power, antenna and speaker stuff attached. They also make a control to keep the stereo steering wheel controls and there is info out there to utilize the factory back up camera with the aftermarket unit.

You can search by VIN at Partsouq if yours is a 13 or newer or you can get a VIN from a non-nav off a foreign sales website. That AC control doesn't show to be in stock which was a big problem when we tried to source the 03-07 controls.

Good call. Updated the numbers. Oddly enough the title says "W/O Windshield deicer". I'm thinking that's a "premium package" type deal that's only available with the Multi-Display? I guess?

The "funny" part is, that damn clock is $250.

I think you will need 55900-60F21 for the AC climate control instead of the 60F41 if you have independent 4-zone. Difference is the dual button on 60F41 is labeled "4 zone" plus an extra mode button on the upper right

I am far from a 200 series guru but I think they have rear AC controls and show to have a rear AC controller. I have just played around with Partsouq. I have found several nav equipped 200 series for sale in the 2008-2012 range with the VIN numbers listed. When I input the VIN numbers partsouq gives me a "spec sheet". None of them mention with nav or without nav. All of them have a listing for the AC controller and they are not all the same. Some of them are not currently available and they list an alternate part number. I would think if you have a 200 and inputted the VIN you could match the controller and clock to your specs? This would help greatly. You would just order the correct controller and clock for the specs on your 200 and use the other parts listed.

I've been watching this thread as I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2008 200 and would like to replace the nav/radio. I just ran across this 200 on eBay which looks like it has the separate climate controls and 2Din Kenwood replacement radio. The 200 was an import from Mexico...was the Nav-delete option mostly found outside of the US?

I will post about this in the classifieds section as well but I was really wondering what those interested in this nav-delete project thought about it. I'm a bit hesitant about it being an import from Mexico and lack of records.... but the price for the mileage is hard to beat. Any thoughts?

Apparently the non navigation option was available just about everywhere. They don't seem to have many US market vehicles that came without the navigation. I don't know about importing vehicles to the US. I imagine there are some fees involved. If this nav delete can be done it won't cost anything once you sell the nav components. I made money on my 100 series nav delete. It was enough to pay for the new stereo, speakers and accessories and pay me for my labor.

I’ve only seen 1 for sale recently. It was a 2011 LC with no navigation system, center console fridge, roof rails, spoiler and rear screen.
It was on sale at carmax. From what I remember, the carfax said it was bought and owned in Bakersfield CA.

Toyota very kindly posted part numbers and diagrams on line. Link here.

So who's going to be the test-subject?
I priced everything out around $800 plus whatever double din headunit you want to use.
Then minus however much you can sell your stock navigation for.
Wait $800 to get the trim pieces and stand alone hvac controls? Hmmmm. I may be willing. Not sure I’m able tho. Hahaha.

subscribing . . . i just put one of the android 6 double din / 10.1 inch HU in my minivan. It has some issues, but is still miles better than ANY in dash I've ever seen. It cost $150. Having a full tablet native in the dash changes the paradigm.
