Oh man, was Friday night a night to remember or what? I guess I just feel fortunate that Bull didn't chase me down and pick out the fro. That was trully a memorable trip and will be tough to duplicate down the road. Big thanks to Georg and the sponsors for putting this on! Great to meet all the new faces too. . .

Next time,

Dylan

Wooo..Yeah Friday was hard to top. My buddy Tor has a pic of the Brantley Axe in action!

Finally got home at 10:30 Tuesday night. we took time to eat and sleep on the way back.

It was an awesome weekend. Hats off to Georg for hosting the event.

I'm back at work this morning and will sort out and post my pics this evening.

The suburban would not engage the 4x4 and I had to get back up that trail in 2 wheel drive. I needed a quick shove from landcrusher909 when my rear diff hung up but other than that the ride home was uneventful.

Great event and even better people.

45run tshirts

any avaialbe for the east coast fj45 owners?
If so I would like one in XL with a lwb pu design

4 Nights @ the Best Western $$$$
8 Fill ups @ Chevron $$$
10 Filters & 1 Elec fuel pump $$

1 Night camping and 1 Day of the 45 Run...Priceless!

A Big Mahalo to Georg, for putting it on!

More of the same to Bull, for all he do!

An amazing Thank You to Mark, for teaching me the field fixability of Landcruisers.

And Gary, I don't know how to Thank you enough for all your help and your families understanding and patience.

We ended up Strapping the pretty 45 to Jackson, then Trailering it 700 miles home behind the FJ Cruiser. Getting home late Tues. night.

It was worth every second of stress to meet everyone and see such a wide variety of 45's.

Thank you everyone, Sincerely....Bill, Gin and Kids!

bill, you're a trooper. for those of you who don't know this, billybong picked up the raffle prizes from metal tech in portland OR and then drove his 45 down to the event, followed by a TJ and an FCJ. the carb on the 45 started acting up while still in OR but he drove it all the way to the event cause he did'nt want the raffle prizes to not show up. i can see how that trip could get frustrating at times......

so thank you again for coming and bringing the rig, the family and the raffle prizes. it was great to meet you and i'll see you in a couple of weeks at "cruising in the woods".

also, thanks for putting together the kid's raffle!

it was a pleasure!

Once again I had a great time on the 45 run. I was able to field test my RTT in the rain and it did not leak adrop. The trout fishing right from camp was a highlight for me. I would like to thank Pismo Jim for the brake fluid I needed after rebuilding my clutch slave and spotting me on the way out. My wagon is really starting to sag in the rear so the expert spotting saved me some scrapes.
Kelly&Rodney what can I say, the food, the bar, you're outstanding hosts.
George of course the raffle was beyond belief, I guess I'm buying a few rounds at SNT.
To all the other mudders it was a pleasure meeting you.

shirts

bummer

bummer on the shirts. Maybe next year. I hope to make that run next year anyway. Thanks anyway. I have sure enjoyed the pics form this years event.
