@mt72 This is looking really nice. I really wanted to put in the long range tank in my 76 for the extended travel in the backcountry, but I have the rear tool box in the floor in mine. So unless I want to cut that out and patch the floor... :meh:

Your other tank is the original 90L? If you have the 1HZ, you are probably looking at about 1600km-1800km range. Depending on terrain, speeds, etc. I tend not to baby mine, so you might get more trying to hyper-mileage... so 2000km may be within reach! Nothing but mountains here so I do not get the best mileage.

Hurry up and get out there and drive this thing!! :steer:

Thanks, Mate! Yes still have the 90L in the front but will add 2 jerrycans one spare tire mount during winter for an extra 40L. Can't wait to go overlanding again :( Patience

Doe's anyone know if this transmission is an H152
33030-60C51

I'm almost positive it's a AUS market only VDJ trans and needs to be sourced from Australia. I could be wrong.
I sourced one from Australia and am having it converted to 1HD bellhousing/shaft/ect before shipping out.

Good writeup here on what it takes to make it fit.

I found this transmission available I believe it's an H152 but not the R Toyota part number: 3303060A70

It's for the VJD76 to 79 from 07 to 2016

Doe anyone knows exactly? the model

Pretty sure H152 started around 2016. I will check the part #, i was looking at an H152 early today for an estimate.

Cheers

Thanks, Mate, I am pretty certain it's too 2900US$ brand new on PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World - https://partsouq.com/ + shipping. I want to make sure it's the good one with 2& 5th gears low revolution
@SNLC

Here's the response from PartSouq:

They fit to all
3303060B80 (initial number) then it changes to > 3303060B81 and then to > 3303060B82
it is a 3 same gearboxes, just different revisions, with some sort of improvement
B80 and B81 is discontinued by Toyota
The catalog will only show what it fits. and it shows fits to 7* series land cruisers. does not say it is H151 or H152, as per application it states H150

If anyone as correlation or substitution for those wire

Quick update on the build

Mostly still struggling with the wiring fuel pump won't activate both the front tank and rear tank due to the wiring that was redone. I will take everything out and test every wire one by one

I was hoping to resolve this by buying the wiring floor and floor #2 but they are nowhere to be found...

For Now: ordered the Alucab pop roof
ARB Compressor kit twin
ARB fridge 69L
Winch VR EVO
Redarc bcdc1225d

Scheel-Mann Vario seats that I need to figure to make Swivel

Once you figure out the swivels, do tell of what sorcery was required! 🧙🏼‍♂️

I stripped the interior now :

  1. Windows are out
  2. Cleaning as started as I will prep the truck for primer
  3. Cut the roof
Did anyone install Daikei Boss Hub Kit for Toyota? I am planning to get a Nardi Steering 390 MM

After spending the weekend scrapping my way. I used the 3M pad for sanding and glue the buster to take out the dirt no easy job.
I am not taking out all outside remaining items to prep. No need to do the roof since the Alu cab is on the way!

The differential button test fit that for the Eaton Elockers :)
