So doesn't look like you had any issues with the center caps fitting. I spoke to method today and they said the big grease fitting in the center of the hub can cause issues with the center cap fitting unless you run a thin spacer to allow clearance. No problems with this on your rig?

No issue at all, the center cap is at least a good 1/2” away from the hub with the wheels’ 25mm offset. That issue may be with the 100 series Land cruisers.

Ok cool! Did you use snap on centers or push through?

There are 2 different size grease caps for the 200 series. They are interchangeable if you need to install the lower profile one. I’ve also heard of people taking a mallet to “adjust” the depth of the bigger caps. (I might be confusing this with something 100 series owners had to do… Point being it can be worked around without using wheel spacers).

Thanks for the share knowledge! That helps a lot!

The wheels came with push on caps the seat about 1/8-1/4" into the center of the wheel.

Good info, thank you!
Here are a couple pictures showing where the cap clips into the wheel.

Stock 2013 LX here. I'm looking to take advantage of Discount Tire's Labor Day sale. Did not see this exact setup in the database.

I was planning on getting the Icon Vector 5 in 17x8.5 +25 with 285/70/17 A/T tires (Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain), however, when I go to checkout, it says the wheels won't fit. I know that's BS since there are plenty of rigs on here with those exact wheels. What's even more puzzling is that they will let me checkout my cart with the tires.

Anyways, I did some playing around on the site and say that Method MR305 NV are a few dollars cheaper but DO fit (I can checkout my cart). These wheels are 17x8.5 +0.

My question is, 17x8.5 +25 with 285/70/17 seems to fit with very minimal rubbing (heat gun needed). Will a +0 run into any additional issues? I like both wheel designs.

Remove your LX from your saved vehicles.

I did, and I played around with it for quite a while. However, it doesn't let you check out unless you have a saved vehicle.

What is weird to me is that it lets me check out with the Methods, but not the ICONs. I was going to call in on Tuesday (when the sale ends) but now I might even be leaning towards the Methods. 😄 Just want to make sure they fit without any issues.

I don't ever buy direct, I check out what I want online, go to my preferred location (or call) and order it. Discount will match or beat an advertised price from a competitor and if you are now or a former first responder/LEO/Military they will give you 5% off. If there's a wheel or tire you want that they don't show online odds are they can get it from their vendors, I've done this a few times now myself.

^ Thank you sir. I think I'll talk to them directly regardless.

My only question remaining:

17x8.5 +25 with 285/70/17 seems to fit very easily with very minimal rubbing (heat gun needed). Will a 17x8.5 +0 run into any issues?

0 offset will be some work.

It's only a one inch difference (25mm) all going towards the outside (poke). Will it be rubbing on the outside more? Fender liner? Any issues once it compresses?

EDIT: Note that I will be running 285/70/17 (32.7" tire). Same width tire as stock.

You'll need a more aggressive BMC and rear fender trimming with the 0 offset. Most recommend to stay somewhere between +35-25mm.

I just ordered my stuff on Friday. Ordered same size tire Toyo OC AT3 285/70R17 - according to Toyo 32.8". Ordered my wheel directly from Method on their labor day sale. Shipped direct to my tire shop. Tire shop suggested I do +25, the methods are +35 so that's what I ordered.

Have adjusted my fender liners by adjusting mounting location: Trimming Wheel Well for Larger Tires - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/trimming-wheel-well-for-larger-tires.975420/page-2 . I also did a sensor lift - at least for now.

See my thread here for an update. I did more research and found this thread which covers it. They fit, but require a bit of plastic trimming. No other mods needed but they still might rub a bit

Hi everyone. Long-time lurker while shopping for a Land Cruiser. Very excited to be about to pull the trigger on a LX570. I checked out the (awesome) tire inventory and had a question about a size not posted there... on my current truck, I have 305 / 70R / 16 -- beefy BFG A/T tires. Would those tires be able to fit or would they wrap in too much given the shorter diameter? I just got them (~$1400 for the set) and would love to be able to put them to good use. If it won't work, I won't try to fit a round peg in a square hole.

Thanks so much in advance!
