Sorry, meant 285/70R18. Really on the fence between 285/70R18, 275/70R18 or 285/70R17
Ah, thats a slightly different answer.. 34s (285/70/18) will require some plastic fender liner massaging and removing the mudflaps behind front wheels.

We just installed a set of 285/75/17 which are also 34" on +35mm offset wheels. Minimal rub on kdss, but otherwise about as large as I would personally go without further modifications.

I should have mentioned it's for an LX. I don't mind some superficial touching, I just don't want horrific rubbing noises

Should be fine just to remove the mudflaps behind front wheels and massage the front fender liners forward on an LX. Alignment will also play a role.

This guy just installed some with close to the same effective offset due to spacers...

I am getting my (new to me) truck (2018 LX570) sorted out and I just noticed there are 1" spacers on them to allow for wheel (heritage wheels) clearance with the big brakes.
I am not the biggest fan of spacers but i don't think i have a choice in this situation, other than of course go back to stock brakes...which i am debating.

Tires are 275/65R18.

The wheels are PRETTTY close to the brakes still with 1" spacers. Would I introduce a new set of problems if I went to 1.25"?

Most popular spacer for Heritage wheels is the Spidertrax 1.25spacers. As long as they are properly installed, you should have no issues. I have them on my 200, my .02!

look at the rear brake fitment vs the front.
rear, i can barely stick a debit card in (which i believe is 0.03"). wilwood says i should have 0.08" clearance.
front has plenty.

I have the wheel off right now and noticed the BBS heritage wheels have 3 "steps"...is this how the other 18" wheels are? My other cars, the inside of the wheel is flat side to side.

Widest part diameter is 17.62"
Middle is 16.84"
Outer is 16.19"

I had to use 1” spacer to fit the big brakes, wondering a diff set of 18” wheels could have worked without spacer.

red box is an approximation of how the caliper sits with the 1" spacer.

Forsee any issues running a 114S C load 275/70/17 Wildpeak AT4W mounted on a Method 316 17x8 +25 in regard to load rating (2601lbs) on a stock vehicle with no plans for towing? Also can someone please post link to database again, I don't know why I can never find it. Thanks!

I’ve had 285/70/17 AT4W on Icons +25 offset going on 2 years, no issues.

Greetings all. Here’s a few pics of the new setup. I’ve been digging through this thread for months and finally made the decision to go with the following based on my needs:

Method 703
Gloss titanium
17x8.5
+35 offset

Nitto Terra Grappler G3
285/70/R17
C Rated

I just got them installed and am pretty stoked with how they turned out. Just a hair noisier than the stock 21” wheels and tires. No apparent drop in MPG based on the 20 mile ride home. Cheers!

Beauty!!! Any modifications required to fit (mudflap delete, heat gun, trimming, lift, etc)? Thanks

So no modifications whatsoever (mudflap delete, heat gun, trimming, spacers lift, suspension….)? Thanks
Front tires had slight rub when turning. I had to do some minor work on the plastic fender liners, but kept mud flaps. I think I relocated a screw location and used some heat to resolve the issue. Coming from stock all seasons, there is a difference in ride quality on pavement.

Replaced the KO2s with Nitto Terra Grappler G3s. 285/75r17 in C load. +25 offset wheels. Rubbed on the front fender liner but pinned it forward and no rubbing now. Front mud flap was already removed.

If you do much travel on gravel, you may want to put the mud flaps back on. I found the stuff on the underside of the sliders got really blasted by the debris kicked up by the front tires.

do the front mud flaps fit with 285/75/17 tires?

Depends on the wheel offset and alignment. We had to remove ours with the stock bumper liners moved forward, +35 offset wheels, and the below alignment specs. Its a very fine game of fitment to avoid contact in other places.
