I ended up putting it in high mode, disabling the AHC, and pulling the fuse to reset the computer so there’s no error message. I’d describe the ride as “permanent sport mode”. It’s the best look in my opinion.

Welcome, young Padawan. You show promise of having the force. Yet mastering the ways of AHC is a journey of patience that no shortcut will lead you to true insight. Stay awhile, immerse yourself, and study hard. In time, you will see where your training must focus and rise to the rank of a true AHC high master.

It rides like s*** in high.

Disabling it vs adjusting the linkage arms will eventually lead to sag too.
It’s not so bad. I have an 80 and a manual fj cruiser that ride about the same. The cushion feel of comfort mode on the LX wasn’t for me. I had an LX470 that I converted to coils. Never really messed with its AHC

I did the adjustment on the sensor linkage to the highest setting. Is that the linkage you were referring to? Then put it in high and disconnected it. I’ll be interested to see how long it takes to sag. If it happens frequently then I’ll probably go back so I don’t have to mess with it, but if it takes 6 months then I’ll probably just plug it back in adjust back to high and unplug again.

Sounds like you need an NST Spec body lift @razorbackcruisers

How do you like those overhead lights?

Are they actually bright or just meh?
Those lights have become a meme to be honest.
Detailers/social media blew it up.

someone said they are the "live laugh love" of garage lights.

but to answer your question, they are bright and do work. i believe costco is selling some now (which also tells you..they are the end of the social media hype).

I like them. They are fairly bright, though I might consider adding another row or two directly over the work bench.

I'm also not on social media and don't really care if something is a "hype". That said, I do frequently get compliments on them.

First world problem with my Rock Warrior wheels... Do I:
1) Leave the spokes gun metal grey, or paint them black?
2) Polish the bead rings, or leave them matte/semi-gloss finish?
Decisions, decisions...

And I've narrowed my tire decision down to one of these two in size 285/75R17 (34"):
BFGoodrich All-Terrain K03 or
Falken Wildpeak ATW4

Go with bronze w/ machined ring and Falken WP or Kenda Klever.

Think about for a few months before changing anything. Looks fine as it is.

I vote against black. Leave them alone or paint them some other color. Painting the rock ring gunmetal might look cool. I really like the look of the RW's without the rock ring, but the surface underneath is probably hammered.
