Looking to get wilkdpeak AT4s in 285/65/R18 with OEM 10mm spacer added on stock suuspension. Is there going to be any rubbing? Local shop is saying I'd need a 2inch lift for no rubbing.
A lift doesn’t affect rubbing which you’re not doing. I’m about to do the same and all I’ve heard is that I might have to remove wind flap on front of wheel well. I think you might have better chance of not rubbing without spacer.

Another solid all around 18" option.

Toyo AT3 EV in LT305/70R18 E load. 35 x 12.0 weighs 60#s

That's an interesting and possibly awesome option. I hadn't seen EV spec ATs in anything but a 275 previously and good to see the lineup expanding. This would be great for an overlanding where efficiency counts.

There was a rebate on KO3s and discount tires had 275/70/r18 so I went with those instead.

@gaijin could I please get the RCTIP for the Toyo Open County AT3 in size 285/75r17 for my 2016 200 LC? Thanks in advance!

Sure!

The RCTIP (Recommended Cold* Tire Inflation Pressure) for those LT285/75R17 tires on your LC200 is 37psi F/R.

*According to Toyota:

Tire Pressure vs. Tire Temperature

Tire temperature is dependent on “cold” tire pressure, driving distance and speed, ambient temperature and road surface temperature. As the temperature of the tire changes, air in the tire expands and contracts, changing the tire’s air pressure. The cold tire pressure for all Toyota models will vary and will need to be adjusted accordingly.

“Cold” tire pressure, as shown on the tire pressure label on our vehicles, is generally considered to be the pressure in a tire that has not been driven in the past 4 hours and has been parked outdoors.

And don't forget to re-initialize your TPMS system.

Well I decided it was time for some new rubber on the LX, even though my KO2's still had decent tread left. I just wasn't super happy with how busy the ride became with the KO2's so my goal was to get something a little more tame, but still capable. Ended up with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent's in 295/70R18 and the difference in ride quality was really surprising. All those extra vibrations and movement in the rear end from the KO2's basically disappeared with the Duelers. The sizing and +40 offset on the wheels also means the scrub radius is effectively exactly at stock values too. The whole thing just drives so much better now.

I already had removed the front mudflaps for my previous setup, so all I had to do was pull the front inner wells forward a little more to get full clearance. There's still plenty of space between the UCA's too, which I was a little worried about going in.

Any side profile photos of the whole rig by chance? Liking the no roofrack look.

Here's mine. Ditching the shorty roof rack and door mouldings is the best cosmetic upgrade you can do to an early LX570, IMO :hillbilly: Next, gonna wrap the door handles body color and black out the belt mouldings. @aM200, what wheels are those with the -40 offset? I've got 12.5" wide mickey thompson's (with a lot of sidewall knobbery) and though they still tuck, I'm not loving the static poke look with -25mm offset.

Wheels are Method MR318's. Pretty sure that's one of maybe 2 or 3 total options for aftermarket wheels with a +40mm offset.

I am new to the LC community so take it easy haha..
The LX570 I am picking up has 20".
I want to go back down to 18". Stick with stock 285/60/18?
Any recommendations on next size up?

285/65/18 and 275/70/18 are common sizes to fit stock wheels and suspension.

Stock tires on 18" wheels (285/60R18) have a 31.46" diameter. Next size up would be either 285/65R18 (32.58" diameter) or 275/70R18 (33.16" diameter). I still have stock 285/60R18's on my LC (just purchased earlier this year). But from what I have read on this forum, most people have had success running 285/65R18 or 275/70R18 with no rubbing on stock suspension. When there is rubbing (rare I think?), it can be addressed by removing mud flaps or using heat to remold fender liners.

Really getting 275/70/18 in there without rubbing or modifications?
On an LC it will kiss the drivers side KDSS sway bar on full lock. On an LX it’s no problem, you could probably go bigger lol.
