How thick are these? I’d love a thinner fob, even if it was a millimeter.
It’s actually thinner than the OEM key by about 3mm. This fob is around 12.8mm at its thickest part

“Is that an extra millimeter in your pocket, or....?”

:hillbilly:

But ya... 3mm thinner finally catches my attention for this fob.

When I do these designs I start with the internals and build around that. It should be about as compact as it could possibly be made. I haven't done final measurements on this design yet, but as @TheForger shows above, it's definitely thinner. I think it feels much more solid, too. The OEM design is very rounded and bubbly where my approach is much more minimalistic. Every little bit of material and volume serves a purpose. No filler here!

Hmmm... Rounded and bubbly. So true.
Feels hollow.

-While you’re at it, please go ahead and design a full body replacement for the 200 itself, as it’s pretty “rounded and bubbly...” :hillbilly:

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind. Looks like there's some demand for the Lexus fob as well. I'll look into feasibility on these.

We messaged earlier, but I have an extra fob for my 11 LX here in Longmont, happy to let you borrow it for R&D.

Thanks for the reminder. I may take you up on that. I do like having a permanent tester, but maybe I can get started with yours and wait for a cheap one to pop up on eBay. I'll reach out once I have an in-house printer to expedite prototyping. Hopefully that'll be mid-late February.

We're about to go live!

Teaser attached and another on Instagram. Launch sale begins tomorrow. I'm thrilled to get this out into the community. The first 20 orders get a limited "Unbranded" version. All future versions will have a YotaMD logo on the back, but the first 20 will be clean and unbranded.

Check the following page for the official listing and of course watch out on mud for a dedicated thread for the product after launch.
