I would like some kind of sway bar whether KDSS or standard LX but IIRC, retrofitting the LX sway-bars to an LC200 doesn't seem like simple bolt-on affair.

Maintaining LX AHC is a goal for me as long as I can.Hey guys,I worked here at 74Weld, and this is true.
This is actually want I came here to ask you guys, just out of curiosity. How many of you would maintain KDSS and stock suspension, and for LX owners the AHC. Really just out of curiosity here, I'm excited to see people maintain those systems while running 37-40s because I think thats rad, but I'm curious if thats a priority for people.
I wouldn’t run stock LC suspension, but I would definitely run AHC.Hey guys,I worked here at 74Weld, and this is true.

What do you mean? You have the Werewolf portals right? Are you still utilizing the AHC on your Lexus?I wouldn’t run stock LC suspension, but I would definitely run AHC.

Do it!Been rocking 37s and AHC for 3 years now without issue. Only thing that would make me switch it would be SASing the front
I wonder if it would be possible to do a SAS and keep AHC. By using rear AHC components on the front.Been rocking 37s and AHC for 3 years now without issue. Only thing that would make me switch it would be SASing the front

Yes I am. And yes I would still run it, and I think it would be good, but I decided it was time for an offroad specific suspension. I think AHC is the most versatile suspension on the market, and it literally does everything well, but I’m at the point where I want my suspension to do excellent off-road - not just good enough. I’m going to be doing some difficult trails. I also want more articulation and travel. What do you mean? You have the Werewolf portals right? Are you still utilizing the AHC on your Lexus?

Having to delete AHC would be a deal breaker for me. I would like to keep AHC at all costs.Hey guys,I worked here at 74Weld, and this is true.

You can keep AHC with either Werewolf or 74 Weld. Ben from Dissent is running 74s on his LX 700h with AHC no issues. Werewolf wouldn’t have any issues either.Having to delete AHC would be a deal breaker for me. I would like to keep AHC at all costs.
I’m pretty close to Stellarbuilt and am willing to offer up my 21’ LX for R&D if needed.
From my understanding you’ll need to convert to 6 lug.
I think switching to 6 lug is a huge plus with the portals. Way more wheel/beadlock options with the 6 lug. I’m preparing for the full package to cost closer to $30k with portals, wheels, tires, brake upgrade, and labor. This is true--I saw a sneaky comment on a Dissent post about the 200 series being under development about a month ago and I had previously discussed with Quinn the 6-lug likelihood
I put my 6-lug wheels on order a month ago--downside is brand new model and first production run not slated until November with a late December/early Jan delivery. Even if the portals are out next week this is at best a winter project now

I'm curious if 74Weld is going to include brakes like they used to do with the Tacoma kits; my gut is leaning yes given the necessity of switching to a different lug pattern and I know they've been focusing some on all inclusive packages lately. I personally think $30k will end up being on the extreme low end and $35k being about average if including labor too
WOW! Hat's off to Rob. THAT's amazing customer service IMO.Just FYI: Rob (the US distributor for Werewolf portals), drove 12 hours to my house to fix my tone ring that had somehow moved out of place. Now that that’s fixed, AHC is fully functional - no lights on the dash and everything works.
So for those of you wondering if Werewolf portals are compatible with AHC, the answer is yes.
Also, if you were wondering what kind of customer service you’ll get with Werewolf, I hope this is a good example. Dude drove 12 hours, fixed the tone ring (and installed RCV’s for me), turned around and drove home. No charge, no expectations. Unreal.
Is this the standard level of service that anyone purchasing Werewolf Portals should expect?Just FYI: Rob (the US distributor for Werewolf portals), drove 12 hours to my house to fix my tone ring that had somehow moved out of place.
