Quick weekend trip to my favorite spot in New Mexico. First time pulling a travel trailer. I prefer a much lighter pack-out, but what do you do when you have 3 girls and 2 dogs (also female)? Also finally made the switch to Michelin Defender LTX MS2 tires from KO2. Loving them so far.

What size are YOUR Defender LTX MS2s? I was looking to order some stock size Michelin LTX M/S this week, but the M/S2 doesn't show in the stock size, at least on Tire Rack. You're welcome to PM me if you want, so we can discuss without cluttering this thread.

Some of you requested pictures of my cut up rear bumper from average visual height. I got a couple today. Except now I have something additional in play here. Testing a prototype rear hitch mounted swingout from @LFDOffRoad that works for the 200 and 570 and possibly the 100 series.

Cheers!🍻

which trail is this? looks great.
Alpine loop. We did Mineral Creek, Engineer Pass, Cinnamon Pass, American Basin, California Pass, Hurricane Pass, and Corkscrew Gulch.

That was a blast yesterday. I’m going to make you come back next year and do the Silverton gulches with me. I can’t believe you’re 6 hours away and haven’t seen every bit of the area yet!

I do love the alpine loop. The photos are great even when you forget to put a truck in front of the camera

We are headed there on the 21st. Hopefully they have all of Imogene open by then.

It’s open to the top right now. TBH I love Telluride but the Ouray side is prettier and I’d have no qualms about going up and down the same side. It would save the return trip, so you’d have time to hit Yankee Boy and Governor basins

We will be going over from the Telluride side to Ouray where we will be staying that night. We can still hit those two on the way down into Ouray, just so long as we make it into town in time to hit Bon Tons for dinner that evening lol.
