First time posting. Picked this up in March of 2021. I've had many Toyota 4X4s over the years. This is my first Land Cruiser... what an amazing vehicle! It's bone stock for now but I'll probably add an OME lift and slightly bigger tires at some point. I've always been happy with OME lifts on my previous Tundras.

Welcome! I'd say enjoy the new cruiser but obviously you have been.

Question for the think tank here. What the heck is this slot on switch panel left of the steering wheel? I have seen it on a few other Toyota's in the past but have no clue what it is.

Decided to tackle the grille chrome delete today. It's nice to dig into parts of the LC to see what all it has. I was plesently surprised by the transmission cooler they included on it. I had to add a bigger one to my GX.

Also was happy to see that all of the Chrome parts can be removed from the grille itself. This makes it much easier to prep and paint.

It's for a card/device commonly used in Japan for road tolls and such.

Looks like fun

What size are the Coopers and how are they on the hwy and around town in terms of road noise and comfort?
275/70R18 Cooper AT3 XLT on stock wheels. It fits easily.
(I was after 285/70 initially but found out it'll rub on the kdss bar).

Yeah, it's heavier and a bit hard ride compared to the stock Dunlop, but not much of an increase in road noise.
I got used to it pretty fast as it's my daily and also loving them since I do a lot of mountain trails on the weekends.
