This sucks, sitting here watching my monitor at work. I tried to make it. Even rallied the crew to come back in at 1:30am to try and get out... don't think it is going to happen at least not soon. Will you be on ch 4, if I make it out soon enough?

WOW! What a day!

Things I learned today:

1) I shoulda bought a 4X4
2) Always invite Michael and Claudia
3) Always invite Brittan
4) The prerunner will do things you don't think it will
5) Pathfinder A/T's suck major ass in the dirt
6) Regardless of what others tell you, your kids CAN stay awake the whole way home
7) The Coves at Saguaro lake are in serious need of a cleanup
8) Driving home into the setting sun sometimes makes it hard to see cars in the road ahead of you
9) Most people WILL bring their own drinks and therefore not drink the 2 cases of soda that you brought.

And the #10 thing that I learned today (although I already knew it)

Howdy! Yup! Made it back into Chandler about 6:45. Decided to knock off a little trail dust before checking on here. Great day for us. Enjoyed meeting some new (to us) folks, and enjoyed driving and eating with everyone. I agree about the cleanup work. I think one of the major clubs has officially "adopted" at least parts of the area, but it is obvious they are falling behind. I'd be up for a cleanup run. I still have lots of free garbage bags. John

I really had a great time. Next time I will try to get the family out there. I was impressed that bman had his 16mo old out and my 19mo old was at home with his mom. I should have brought him and a dog.
Thanks Michael and Claudia for the ribs, everyone else's food was good too.
It was good to see the group pull together and leave the place better than we found it.
Let me know when we can do it all again.
My camera is on the fritz so I will have to wait on others pics.
