1HZ/1HDT engine mounting brackets for 6x series cruisers

12311‑17020 RH long side engine mount 7* series
1HZ/1HD*
12311 17010 RH long side engine mount 8* series
12315-17010 LH short side engine mount 8* series

it was my understanding that the 1PZ/1HZ/HD* series shared the same mounting recieving holes in the block.
yes, they do.
so, the assumption would be the mounts that you are using could be modified for the narrower 40 frame if you use the 1PZ/1HZ 12361‑17020, 12311‑17020 7* series engine mounts and not the 80/101 engine mounts.

Not yet. We completed a 13BT-H55F combo into a 79 FJ40 a whole ago but managed to make the 3B mounts work.
We're also working on a 45 project with a 1HD-FT and H55F but made a custom set of mounts for it.

Maybe next time we do a conversion on a 40/45 we'll try to make a small production run of them .......

So these mounts I can put 1hz into my 60 series and use the h55f gear box? Or have to change gear box ?

Yes. You can install a 1HZ/1HDT with the H55F into an FJ60/62 with these mounts.

I bought a set from George for my 1hz fj60 conversion. They were beautifully made and fit nicely. Well worth the money.
