1fz fe crank bolt size and pitch

So I searched and could not find this information. This is for a 1fz fe, I had a crank that had some rust on the inside threads and the M22 bolt would not thread in more than a couple turns before binding up. So I grabbed a tap and cleaned them out. For future mud members the bolt is a M22x1.5 pitch. The head of the bolt is 30mm.

Good information to know but how common is it to find rust inside those threads?? Was the bolt left out, salvage yard block, or??
