Bringatrailer auction went live today!!

This LX450 is showroom quality.

I just submitted it to BaT (Bringatrailer.com), but I'm also open to selling it to a MUD member since I have heard it takes BaT a while to process new submissions.

203k miles currently, and sitting in my garage. Asking $32k.
TONS of photos here (around 250 photos): LX450 - https://photos.app.goo.gl/bfuKKdteZhMZZooF6

I have talked to a few of you that are interested over the last 24 hours, and thought a video walk through would help answer a lot of questions. Below is a video walk through I just did. Please let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to call me as well:

Following have been done in the last 2 months by me:
* All 3 belts replaced with OEM toyota belts
* OEM Denso iridium spark plugs
* OEM Toyota distributor cap and rotor
* OEM Toyota spark plug wires and coil wire
* Power antenna
* Trunk hatch gas struts
* Hood gas struts
* OEM Toyota PCV valve
* OEM Toyota valve cover & PCV hoses
* Oil and filter change

Following were done by the previous owner in the last year or so:
* ARB Front bumper
* Black Rhino wheels and CNC machined spacers
* Procomp AT Sport LT285/75/16 tires

Following were done by the previous previous owner here on MUD around 2018-2020:
* Valve cover gasket
* EGR components
* Radiator
* Throttle cable
* Front birfields / knuckles rebuilt and resealed
* PHH - Gates green stripe, with breeze constant torque clamps
* Radiator hoses and breeze constant torque clamps
* Fan clutch
* Exhaust - OEM style
* Full interior carpet replaced
* Full leather replacement along with center console lid and doors
* New hood insulation
* Old Man Emu front and rear coil springs
* OEM Toyota shocks
* EBC brakes
* Full glass and trim out re-paint
* Replaced all side glass (doors)
* Replaced third row sliding glass with new OEM Toyota solid single piece glass
* Pioneer door speakers, retained factory door panels and speaker grills
* Replacement 4" sub in center console

Everything works and functions as it should. No leaks. No rust. No check engine lights. No problems at all. It's about as perfect as an 80 series gets.

I'm located in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). Happy to answer any questions and have you swing by to see it if you're interested.

Yep, green; tons of photos in the link. I know lots hate on the green but I think it's a unique color and it shifts with the light to where it looks black and blue. It's a sweet color imho.

What color is it? Green?
It is the factory lexus color for the year called "Dark Emerald Pearl". It was a two tone color with a pearl/metallic gray at the bottom half and fender flares. The color code for Lexus Dark Emerald Pearl is "6M1", I think. One of my favorite colors on the 80 series. Looks almost black at night, and very deep dark metallic/pearl green in the day.

A couple people asked for a cold start video. Finally got home from work early enough to take one today. Here ya'll go.

All following preventative maintenance done over the last few weeks. None of it was really needed, but I'm just a weird guy that doesn't like leaving anything untouched. I'll upload videos of all the work soon too.
Iridium spark plugs
PCV Valve and hoses
New Duracell Group 27f battery
Heater control valve
Radiator
Thermostat and gaskets
All 3 drive belts
Spark plug wires
Distributor cap and rotor
Distributor o-ring
Ignition timing set to factory setting of 3degrees

Video walk through of temperature readings at normal operating temperature of the radiator inlet and outlets, temperature of the cylinder head, temperature of the exhaust manifolds, temperature of the AC vents with heater on, and temperature of the AC vents with cooling on. Also included in the video is hands-off driving to show the how the LX450 tracks straight under acceleration, coasting, and braking.

Uploaded a lot more videos of the recent maintenance in detail, walk throughs of different functions, condition, etc.... Keeping them all in this running playlist that I'm adding to:

Dude this thing is ****ing beautiful. I'm not sure a BaT buyer would care about hood struts or hatch struts but you have the info so why not? I don't think you'll have any issue on BaT getting top dollar. You'll take a hit for it being a Lexus vs Toyota but nothing you can do about that. I'm really excited for this thing to go live; you have my support!

Been collecting as much history as I could about the vehicle from sources available and consolidating into a single spreadsheet.

Bringatrailer auction went live today!!

So..... What do you do when the winning bidder calls you very shortly after the auction ends to tell you a BS family excuse about why he can't follow through with the purchase?

Anyone want this beauty? I'm exhausted with this process.

Man that sucks. Did bat give you the contact info for the second highest bidder? Seems like they’ll be pretty close to the winning bid accounting for the buyers fee that they now no longer have to pay.

Not yet. I sent BaT an email last night. Waiting on a response.
