Maybe I'm easy, but filled with awe am I; so want to do this to mine.
With the seat delete plates (50 + the 100) are you able to put the seats in/out? Or is this a permanent option?
Also, the compressor under the bumper - how's it been? Does it wear well under there with all the splatter?
Do you have any driver POV pics?

That super slide out under the fridge for a table/cooktop is fabulous...

Each seat takes me no more than 5 minutes each. 4 bolts and they are light to remove even with my bad back. I usually remove 1 seat for my local camping trips and that gives me a rear seat for an extra passenger. The 100% delete is used if I would go for a week or more.

The compressor is awesome. Its built with sealed bearings and can be mounted in any position. I wont cross water over the hubs unless its an emergency, but its nice to know its built for under a vehicle. I initially did a remote intake filter placement high up on the body, but I never needed it that high.

Good Match with the factory TrekBoxx finish

Ive added quick release points for straps since the initial pics. You could strap 4 full size boxes easily there and stay out for weeks !

Wow John I'm shocked to see this for sale! I am right in the middle of a huge life change right now, otherwise I'd be hopping on a flight to come see you. I know I owe you an email - I'll shoot you one this weekend and give you some info on what's going on in our world that precludes me from taking this sweet ride off your hands. GLWS!

Thanks MG - Hope all is well with you guys and hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Talk soon my friend.

Love this 80!! No part time 4wd kit yet???

Nope.. No need personally for me.

Truck has no vibes at all and I love having a center diff lock in 2WD High for Fire Roads... Having AWD is also nice for the heavy rains we see here in the summer.

Best regards,

John

I've had several questions on pricing without the TrekBoxx and External items. I will entertain selling it without those items if it will help.

Updated Pricing Structures as of 11/29/19:

Asking $59,000 USD As Is - Turn-Key

Without Alu-Cab Tent, Awning and TrekBoxx $53,000 USD ( and I have the never Used 3rd Row if wanted )

Cheers,

John~

Well, I didn't think this day would come but I guess it's that time.

I must say that its been an incredible journey working with John on this build.... All the way back when I was in GA and John drove from Birmingham to pick up parts and we had lunch at the local Thai place and broke some bread.... Beginning of a great working relationship and friendship.

Probably the best thought-out and apportioned 80 series out there. The V8 2UZ-FE swap from Slee seals the deal in my book (especially considering we did a new OEM short block and new OEM A343F transmission as well).

I just can't say enough about this truck. It really is a top-shelf build-- no expense was ever spared on any parts or labor. It is meticulous in execution. And, IMO, better than Joe Rogan's 80 series.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding this build considering I guided it in the project development phase.

Best.

Thank you my friend. 80's come and 80's go, but friendships like these can never be taken away. Honestly, it was the best part of all these years.

Thank you for all the work, time and energy answering all my questions, educating me all the time throughout the process. Onur even hand delivered my truck to Christo at Slee for the Swap. Thank you again and next time Thai is on me !!

V/R,

John

At first, when I looked at the ad, I thought wow another crazy person added some components and wants a mint. But then I read your build thread. WOW! Its all the stuff you don't see (and some you do) that make this rig amazing. Great work! I wish I had the cash to just fork it over this is beautiful and your attention to detail is wonderful. Good luck with the sale, I hope you get what you are asking.

Thank you for that. I was apprehensive to post it here, but wanted to allow the community first crack at it. I really appreciate you reading through before giving me both barrels !!! I very much appreciate your comments....

Kind regards,

John

Unless you need to sell this, I really think you should raise the price. Your truck is one of a kind and one that will continue to inspire Mudder's forever. This is a much nicer build than the Joe Rogan/TLC and that was multiple times more expensive.
