Getting ready to do a trip this Saturday to Wednesday, only a few days in the Cruiser, rest is backpacking. Installing my fridge though right now, been meaning to do it for awhile.

Where I setup my power panel, got a led clip on light I will run out of the second port.

Quick and dirty on this, just added a second circuit breaker for the 10g I ran back to the power panel.

For now I will just strap it down to the floor. If I ever get around to building drawers I will put it on a slide.

I want to grow up to be Ian...

Grow up shesh not me I don't want to get any older than I am now
I'm fairly confident that I'm older than he is!

I just want a nice 80, some solitude and some companionship via dogs and better half...

Went out to do four days of camping in the desert. It rained A LOT so we only did three days.

One side of a canyon we dropped in.

The road runs here, not to difficult but massive exposure and very narrow. Parts of it there is only about six inches from my tire to the edge of the road.

Another canyon we dropped into.

The road runs here and on the first switch back a guy actually died when his jeep rolled off the road and down the gully.

A bridge that was putt in a few years ago at the bottom of one of the canyons. Which is nice because when the river is to high you can’t cross it at the bottom of this canyon.

About a 1/3 of the way down one canyon. I have never done this trail in the rain, it has very steep sections and switch backs. A fair share was simply controlled sliding and hoping you stayed on the trail.

Doesn’t look like it in the pics but these are all steep slopes.

Actually steeper right below this, 30* easy if not more. It was pissing rain, Rear locker in and the Cruiser climbed right up.

Lots of beautiful little creak crossings, meadows, rocky climbs and tunnels through the trees on these trails.

Inches between my tires and the edge of the trail.

Most of the trails are pretty mellow but there are sections you need to pick your line and possibly use the rear locker.

Dropping off a steep section, normally no big deal but it was slippery!

We did some fantastic meals on the fire! I caught about a dozen bull trout Saturday morning. Ranged from 8-14”, nearly every cast I hooked one! Great weekend!

Cheers
