Giving the Cruiser a quick “knuckle & wheel bearing job”! The bearings are fine, we are just replacing the gaskets/seals and more to the point cleaning + repacking it all with fresh grease.

The diff 3rd member had recently started weeping, it was not leaking, but was weeping fairly heavy. So while we had the axle shafts out we pulled the 3rd member, cleaned the mating surfaces and reinstalled it with a fresh and updated OEM gasket.

We are about down to the last handful of items on the checklist. Some lights to install at the back of the roof rack, fit a back up camera too. Install the rear bumper after it’s back from fresh powder coating, fit a tow hitch to the rear bumper as well. A couple mechanical things on the list and that is about it!

😍🤌

Very impressed with your integrity to take the rig to the very last detail long after it was sold !! Your a good Man !!

We decided to mount the SwitchPro big pin block under the passenger seat next the the amp. It fit perfectly on the custom mount I made awhile back after pulling the rear heater system.

The new Scheelmanns are XL, they just barely clear the grab handles front to back full tilt!

Did fresh spindle rebuild kits on the rear bumper. Also did the little rubber bumps and the struts plus hardware.

It got picked up a few hours ago and is off to its new home with @Dadams ! It was a real pleasure to build it, own it, use it and eventually sell it to an outstanding fellow Cruiserhead! That is it for me and this build thread. 😆🤌

Thanks so much Ian. Anxiously awaiting its arrival! I will post a few pictures of this outstanding 1995 in its new habitat in the near future.

Well, the 95 made it to Oklahoma. The 103* heat doesn’t bother it in the slightest. This is my 4th 80 and compared to the others this one drives like it is factory new (with a lift and suspension upgrade😀). I have put about 500 miles on it. It runs down the highway smoothly at 80 mph and handles the ranch roads easily. When I get a new to me 80 I like to drive it for a while on and off road and then put a list together of the things I need to do to make it right. I don’t have anything to put on the list! Ian already did everything! Nice to get a vehicle that exceeds your expectations. Purchasing this 95 from Ian could not have been easier, great guy to work with and to say that he knows his way around an 80 is an obvious understatement. I’ll be watching to see what he comes up with next🤔

Looks great in that environment! I am glad to hear it is performing well and there is no “repair” or even “upgrade” list. Those Kings sure are sweet!! 😍

I have a thing or two on my mind about the Cruiser and will send you a message off the board.

Super stoked to see it went to a home where it will get used!! 😎👍

Cheers
