Beno ..... "Can you take some pictures (farther back) that shows the issue?"

Sorry, I'm not clear what photo you're requesting.

I want to see a picture of the entire air box and its location.

There is an OEM bend tube for that section into the fender.

Not installing an OEM snorkel may be viewed as an oversight on my behalf but I'm happy with the results and I'm sure the *Safari snorkel will serve my needs for years to come. I'll try to remember to get a photo the next time I'm in the shop.

*Thanks Cruiser Outfitters

At least one of my batteries is iffy and I'm going to replace both. Any suggestions? (Brands)*

*I don't need a battery that is capable of floating upside down in a river. (Floating upside down in a river isn't my thing).
: )

they dont make the diehard platinum in my size for the troopys. They are being discontinued regardless. I had two optimas laying around from the nissan. If i hadnt had them i would have gone with a northstar agm. Pricy, but heard good things.

Finally got around to inspecting Ward's goodies .....

This kit appears to require some sort of "manual labor" so I seriously doubt I'll open it.

If the river crossing goes bad, I can breathe until I'm recused. :)

I'm running northstar AGM and have been very pleased. They can really take a lot of abuse. They are spendy but when it comes down to it your batteries are the ones that determine if your vehicle is going to start or not

Although it required some additional drilling, another one of Ward's (@wardharris ) products is now firmly in place. :)

good point Tredwards, whatever battery you go with be sure its got a good return policy. Mine have a 13 year warranty so if they die they will either replace them for repair them.

Rear bumper is ready to install.

A bumper with far greater structural integrity than the OEM "recycled beer can" version. Think of it as an "old school" solution.

This winch cover no longer works in my application and is going in the trash bin unless someone wants it.
