I’m not fussy or fancy but the ‘ole garbage bag window fix might need to be replaced by a better solution.

I’ve searched and seen solutions for this if fully open, but haven’t come across one if the motor has died with the window open only 3-4 inches.

Is there a way to easily get the window fully down manually in this scenario?

Maybe there’s a thread out there I missed that covers this one?

Any help appreciated!

I should say, I already have a Corolla window motor replacement on hand to swap in here. Just need to get it all out first!

did you try running battery voltage right to the motor connector?

you should be able to get the assembly loose off the window and off of the door. the question is if it can be worked out of the large lower opening

I did test that at one point and no life, but was a long time ago so may attempt that again. Odds are though it’s dead dead.
