So much for being able to see out of the back window. You're looking pretty content. Travel safe and keep the posts coming.

Not the back but can see surprisingly well around the sides. The 60 is slightly narrower than the isuzu cab. About 18 inches shorter than ford to so the bike fits well.

I am guessing you didn't get the headache rack built before you left.
Not much of one.

So your knees are the first line of defense in a crash and then the 60 finishes you off. LOL.

Bet she rides really nice now, with the extra weight back there.

Took out a deer last night on hwy 200 in Montana I was awakened by a "oh s***" and looked up just in time to see it. We layed it over and ran over it no damage to the isuzu other than s*** on the front bumper.

It rides quiet well loaded up but I'm also really impressed with the lack of body roll from all the weight back there. It doesn't feel over loaded really can't even tell it's back there and fuel mileage doesn't seem to be affected either. 18mpg

Bit higher here I think highest I paid so far was 2.49 cheapest was 2.07 in Mississippi
.
The isuzu spent some time in Ohio so by the time I got it came with custom floor ventilation on the drive side. It wasn't an issue until I got to montana where my floor vents were blowing 40 degree air and freezing my tail. Blower motor and wipers by the way don't work either. :) so yesterday I spent 2.99 and did a quick field repair in the parking lot of ace hardware in Great Falls.

those are tough little trucks....is that a one ton? I think all you need with one is a good multi-speed manual transmission...5speed or greater.

I agree! I'm not sure but believe it's quiet a bit more.. it's 13000lbs gvw

I was meaning to say was it similar to a 1 ton truck or otherwise known as a 3500 series truck in the domestic market

The npr is actually made by isuzu (Japanese manufacturer) but also rebadged as a gmc forward and Chevrolet w4500.

Made it home at 4:30 pm yesterday 4364 miles round trip. The 60 is glad to be back home safe and sound.

Wow, what an adventure. And to think this all started with me wanting to figure out how to hook up a tach.
Glad you got home ok. Curious to see what the ultimate failure was.
I also have a favour, could you post a pic of the wire and connection into the factory
harness for the tach? Is the plug connector from the sensor connector common?
Since it didn't come with your FJ60, did it come with the 12HT when you got it?

I have a picture of the connector a few pages back. yes its a common one pin Toyota connector the other wire simply grounds i extended both wires on the subharness i made so it grounds on the inner fender in an existing captive nut.

glad you made it home.....now the real fun starts....hope the damage is not too painful.

I thought having to buy a recovery vehicle and a 4000 return around trip, the time and effort you have put in makes it expensive, I have had breakdowns before and it's something I hate because it always happens a long way from home?
