I haven't been able to look at my truck in the same way after someone pointed out that my tires are "pizza cutters".
And that was after they made fun of my "blue" engine. :)

That "someone" already apologized for the blue part but stands firmly behind the pizza part.....:grinpimp:

BFG has discontinued that tyre in 255/85/16 and 285/75/16 (what I am running on the 74) :crybaby:

Still listed in 305/70/16 and 315/75/16.
You like um?

I saw the "old" 265/75 16 was replaced with a "new" version.

They appear to be very similar performance wise.

Funny you should mention that topic (new tires) - thinking about adding some new skins for the Burrito. Mud Terrain T/A KM IIs....

Maybe we can convince Charles that his mileage will dramatically increase :)

I would think an engine would be a higher priority.

On the bright side them new skids are not going to wear-out very fast.......Just say'n...:hillbilly:

I gotta tell you that I backed into my first set of these things since I could not get my hands on GY Duratracs. I am absolutely sold on them now and they are my first and second choice for everything but my Rav4 and my Challenger....

My Rav4 is AWD and I'm thinkin'.............:grinpimp:

Every static display needs nice tires. :)
OK, OK....

1) I HAD a motor but it went to a better place

2) I HAVE a motor in a crate

3) My build HAS a completion date, at some point in the future

4) I HAVE a user ID on Pirate 4x4 but those guys are mean to me and make fun of my skinny tires and effete styling decisions so I am stuck with you guys

5) I GUESS tough love is better than no love at all ...

A couple of more photos.....
The boost controller ..... Set at approximately 10-12 psi and the set screw is tightened so I won't do something stupid.

The new skid plate to protect the bottom side of the Intercooler and radiator.

The Intercooler is now completely boxed in (top and bottom).

While I have limited experience with turbos or intercoolers, at 120 kph (flat road) I'm running temps in the 650 degree range and maintaining that speed on a long incline the temp. settled in at about 750-800 degrees.

Pre or Post turbo? Either way, that sounds very safe ...
