what a bloody nightmare ...
i would NEVER recommend airbagit to anyone again.
parts missing
instructions missing
no help from the office
we paid to have the main body all assembled and ready for install but it came in raw ...
wrong bolts
wrong fittings
wrong measurements given me when i was ordering so the location i had picked to install the kit was 1 1/4" too shallow. and nowhere else i felt comfortable putting this assembly

<i added the tags so that the owner won't have to go through the same crap i am trying to figure out what goes where.>

so...

anyway, i tried a few different ideas:

Wayne,

The interior panels are looking good.
I hope to do something similar with my 77 in the cargo area.

thanks for the compliment, when working with a short wheel based vehicle and trying to fit all the items into the various cubby holes can take some ingenuity. I am trying hard to keep the floor area clear for the owner to install drawers at a later date.
the lower arm rest console will be the next big challenge. it needs to house the capaciter, controls for the snow blower, controls for the air bags, toggles for the lights, floor lighting, arm rest itself, rear heater, coffee holder, flash light holder ... and ... be able to allow the shifter to move freely.
and to look presentable.
after that then it is time to get the engine running, install the turbo, intercooler, exhaust, check the rad and hoses and belts.
then we need to lift off the body and send it in for painting while checking the frame for straight, checking the diffs, u/joints, brakes, fuel lines brake lines, flex lines.
once the body is done, reassemble, install new rims and tires
and deliver.

there is still a lot of work to be done ...

quote from Mark W:
There is no gain in arguing with a poo flinging monkey. While his gibbering and raucous cries of victory may seem obnoxious in your ears as you walk away, he will soon be quietly sitting behind his bars again and licking his own feces off his fingers as you carry on with your day.

Its new and they tested sets for landruiser.
Even sets for leafspring models,

One of there testing sets drove a press team in the dakar rally....

Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD... fun starts where the road ends

some of the issues wiht the airbagit kit.
bolts that don't fit the air bags and no other bolts in the assembly. i have to assume these are the ones that supposed to fit.
no adapter for the air pressure gauge in the tank
the one way valve for the air tank, 1/2 fitting into a 3/8 opening just doesn't work

all these are small concerns but when you order a "complete kit" then that is what you should get or at least a list of parts you will need to source.

final assembly of the valve body kit.
the red is rear lines
the yellow is front lines
the black is the air feed line from the York to the tank to the valve body for the air bag and to the valve body under the hood for tools.
one of the reasons i went with new colored lines, the black line that comes with the kit is VERY stiff and hard to bend.
the yellow and red is quite flexible. the cost for the colored lines is the same as the black so it made sense to run the different colors.
this will make it easier should the system need repair or replacement.
the lines will be tagged before final assembly.

the upper adapter plates are decent enough but the holes are incorrect so you need to modify them.
you can see the holes are too far apart
cut off the tabs and weld on extensions then redrill

remove the incorrectly mounted brake line
remove the ubolts
shockingly the ubolts were only 1/2 the nut attached . new ubolts are on order.

No more bump stops then?

nope, no more bump stops (the fronts were missing already). 2.5" lift was installed.
there should be no reason that he could ever reach steel on steel.
