Hi guys,

Listing this cool 85 for sale so I can refocus on my cruisers.

Fairly sure that this is an original Colorado truck which is really cool. Tons of fun to drive around and in good “honest” shape with everything working as Toyota intended 34 years ago!

Price: $5,500, extras additional $1,000 if interested all OBO
Location: Erie, CO (80516)
Shipping: Happy to arrange and coordinate (done it many times) cost on buyer

General Info:

254K miles
Everything works - Rear window, power antenna, for AC, etc...

OME rear leaf springs (they have OME-17 marked on them)
Bilstein 5125 shocks in the rear
OME shocks up front
Uninstalled pro comp front springs
ARB bumper + 8K warn winch
4 x new BF Goodrich KM3 33x10.50x15 tires from Discount Tire, with damage certificates
Soft topper (hard top included but I’m not interested in putting it back on as some trim pieces are missing/damaged)
Lloyd mats - full coverage

Uninstalled Extras:
Full OME Suspension Deluxe 4Runner Kit (SKU:OMEPU4RUNLEAFPOST84D) - $1,299
RRO 4runner Super Sliders - $499
Trail Gear Rear Bumper - $453
Marlin Crawler Front Axel Kit
Total: +$2,250, all new in box/wrapped

This is an honest truck, virtually everything just works. The AC works, the original Toyota OEM radio and equalizer works, the rear window works, the sunroof opens and closes, still has its removable sun shade, and doesn't leak, the radio antenna goes up and down and isn't broken, etc.

The interior is almost entirely complete (no rear seat head rests, but otherwise it's all there)

No rips, stains or smells in the rad 1980s SR5 upholstery. It’s been removed and professionally cleaned/detailed, reinstalled.

I removed all the old carpet and replaced with new (Steel Blue Plush Cut Pile) plus sound deadening.

Sourced (and paid for) the best possible rear plastic I could find, Monstaliner’d it grey to preserve and protect.

It may be used and nearly 34 years old, but overall I don't think it's been abused. The transfer case does what it's supposed to, and 4 hi and low work great. It's not pristine - no $10k paint job here - but there's very little rust considering and as such I feel like it would make a perfect no nonsense truck.

It still needs a few things:
Temperature gauge in the instrument cluster is intermittent
Front leafs are tired (use included pro comps or extra full OME)
I’m sure a few other things, it’s old but that’s why you all love it.

PM for contact info!

Whoah!!! That was fast. Weren't we just talking about how much you love this thing a couple days ago? What do you have your eyes set on now?

And how's $300 for the all the A/C components shipped sound? :hillbilly: It'll go to a good home I promise!

Haha, guilty as charged.

But come on, you know me!

Plus you probably recognize the change in venue...too much going on at the moment. I’ve had my fun, now time to turn to the new 60.

As long as you had your fun with it that's all that matters!

And I did! Nice digs man. Those garages are huge!! Still have your old place too or is that gone? Your shop there was pretty sweet.

You already bought a 60 series? Pics or it didn't happen!

Still have the old place, it’s too cool to let go of. Hoping to have a gear-head rent it out and use it!

Wow! Nice 60 Brett.

What're the plans? SOA, lockers, 35's, ARB bumper and a winch? :hillbilly:

By the way, if anyone is considering buying this I'll put my .02 - Brett is a great seller to buy from!
