I drilled out the few rivets that were holding the sweet fender flares on

. It revealed a disaster cut-job. They cut it too high, cutting into the wheel well and interior. The bummer with this, is they "welded" the holes best they could....and when water splashed in, they added a nice layer of silicon caulk over the welds to trap the moisture in.
Further, it appears that they ...for some reason or another, needed/wanted to weld the spring perches to the frame. The rivets are still in place, but now, they are accompanied by some splotchy chicken-turd welds I am in the process of trying to grind smooth.
I corrected the driver side, now working on passenger side.
Also, in my correspondence with the seller, I was to get a list of parts, to include the license plate lights and wiring. Here is a picture of the license plate lights he included for me.
More correcting, more issues, and more parts on order.
