Well. I had high hopes that we were gonna put @wngrog on a big alligator but they were not really cooperating tonight. We did find a little guy for him to play with for a while. Nolen was very skeptical about holding a live gator but I finally convinced him that he was not gonna die. The little guy was really weirded out by us wanting to take his photo but he did swim away unharmed. Some celebratory Publix chicken and we called it a night.

I'm coming down for a visit.

So we go grab my 200 in the trailer lot and some ants decided they wanted to hitch a ride to Lake Miccosukee.

I made sport of killing them for two hours while I followed John up through Apalachicola National Forest.

Last time I was at the @jomelo farm he was in the process of building the shop and arcade so I had to spend a bit of time looking things over

John is a pinball and game geek as well as a Ham Radio guy so I had the grand tour of all those cool toys. Played a game. Sucked. Left to look at Crusiers.

John has a auto shipper on speed dial but a few months ago he acquired this removable top SWB Fj45 that was restored by @ClemsonCruiser

I’m a huge fan of JPs builds so getting to lay hands on the SWB made for good reason for me to pick up Mustard in person.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better resto mod 45. I could go on and on but here are a few pics instead.

I told you this thing was nice. Exceptional.

This was my maiden voyage to tow any distance with my 200 series. It’s about 9 hours from Lockwood’s to Tilda Bogue. The 200 did good. I added a bit of tongue weight….got a little squat on the Dobinsons and hauled ass. 9.3 mpg in comfort. Could have driven to California

Finished up The Delta Beast and am trying to decide where to start on this Mustard project. Tomorrow I’ll decide and get rolling

Mustard version 1.0 officially had its last drive today.

I took it for a spin and did a baseline feel for the acceleration and ride. The plan is to improve both quite a bit. This is such a great truck as is but is about to be phenomenal

Had to knock the Florida sand out before I pulled it in for a start.
