This is one of the best FJ40´s available in the USA. Recently professionally restored and like new, it has a solid frame and body with no rust, a rebuilt motor, a professional 4¨ lift with coil over shocks, upgraded disc brakes up front, new power steering system, wide aluminum wheels, 35¨ x 15¨ tires, and a custom roll cage. The body looks great and features a beautiful metallic green paint job, custom fiberglass fender flares, side body armor and half doors. It has only 85,000 miles on the original drivetrain (Odometer reads 28,850 kilometers), and is up to date on ALL maintenance.

The original F-2, 4.2 liter six cylinder gas motor has been rebuilt, runs perfectly and has lots of power. The original 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly, the transfer case has been maintained and functions like new, and it has new locking hubs. The vinyl top looks great, and it has easy to roll up, zippered panels, for that true open air feel. The interior is new with bucket seats in front, an upgraded rear leather bench seat, a CD player, and all the original gauges work properly. It has a big off-road rock crawler style bumper, light bar, and many lights. This FJ40 Land Cruiser looks amazing, turns heads everywhere, runs perfectly, and is ready for any adventure. You will not find a better, tougher FJ40. $28,500 Contact Phil Hagen in Fort Myers, Florida (239) 246-3922 or phil.advancedledsystems@gmail.com

Can we see some undercarriage pics?

Wow! Way to take a probably really nice potential truck and make it worth way less! Two thumbs up! BTW no "professional" is going to put coil over shocks on a truck unless he is Linking the axle and doing away with the leafs. It is a long list of wrongs so you might want to not call this a restoration any more. The word "restoration" means something completely different from what you have here. You might want to rethink putting this thing out here in front of a group of Landcruiser enthusiasts with a ridiculous price tag like that.

Gee. I guess you are the expert here. Sorry for insulting your high level of restoration knowledge. Yea, using coil overs is a real sin, huh? I will not even comment more since you already know it all... Go knock someone elses rig Jack ass.

By claiming to have the best, you should be open to some constructive criticism. "Restoring" a vehicle to one's personal taste, you shouldn't take it personally when someone doesn't like it. This probably isn't the right place to sell an FJ40 that has such sophisticated parts like coil over shocks and leaf springs. Good Luck with your sale, remember there is a butt for every seat.

i never claimed to have the best. I said ¨one of the best¨. And just because it has coil overs is no reason to bash it. So what? It looks great and drives great. It has been restored as well, including rebuilding the motor, body and paint, new interior, new roll bar, new tires, new wheels, new power steering, disc brakes etc. So, I am open to criticism. No problem. But, know it alls who are out to bash someone´s rig in order to show their high level of intelligence and knowledge just gets old...

I've been watching these classified for a few years now. Usually the best place to sell a truck that has been modified to this level is EBAY.

@donzi33 - You joined this forum yesterday, so let me be the first to say, welcome....& as pointed out by @lukefj80 - the bezel on your truck is upside down. It doesn't bother me though, I think it looks fine on this rig as is.

Very nice build and I'm sure you put a pile of money in it. This site has a lot of purists, and I count myself as one of them. I do not consider this a restoration, and my opinion goes way beyond the coil overs. Rest-mod? Yes. The rig is not "my cup of tea" and I do think the price is extreme for what it is and that's my opinion.

I'm not sure why you would post a rig like this here when MUD members are known for their love of 40s. For $28k you can get a 40 that was a true nut and bolt frame off restoration. It may float someone's boat somewhere though. GL
