I changed the 02 sensor out. Seems pretty quick to have one go out
Beautiful truck.

My 72 with a sniper setup keeps fouling/killing 02 sensors as well. I swapped out a couple of them under warranty at Autozone, but the last few times I have popped out the O2 sensor and heated the end of it up red hot with a MAPP torch and it seems to have worked with a 100% success rate so far. I think I have burned the carbon off of my current sensor three times now. Worth a shot and this saves $$$ every time it works!

Thanks I will give that a shot.. keeping one in my glove box as well..lol

1/2 doors done. One good pic and one crappy one. 🤪

Thinking of making some custom door panels with cloth green houndstooth fabric. If it looks good I may get someone to do the seats with insert as houndstooth.

If you think the second one is the crappy one I think that’s the awesome one.

Funny how this green looks really different depending on the light.
Also, these devices try to do a lot of heavy lifting in the decision department. So many things affect white balance.

The doors look great regardless.

Did you ever isolate the whistle/jingle/squeal noise?

Oddly it is very faint now. And just in reverse.
Was yours the throw out bearing?
I don’t think so/am not quite sure.
It still only happens above 2,500 rpm in gear (all) so it’s hard to tell.

I do know my throw out bearing and fork aren’t being returned reliably by the slave so, it is a possibility it is the TOB.

Half doors on. Turned out good. I have always like the 1/2 door setup. Probably a bother month or so before it will be too cold for top off.

Dont know if you can see it, but the passenger door at the bottom is kicked out a bit. I assume you can loosen the door hinges on the back side to adjust.
Just ran out of time today. I hate the time change crap.

I also just painted the old red stripes on the panel for now.. ordered some green houndstooth material for my new ones. So this are just temporary.

Waiting patiently for my light/hazards/washer switches that are lighted from Matt…..😩

After a little work on the back porch that I have been wanting to do for a while, finally got back on the 40.
Driver side metal work done and tackling the passenger side. PS was a lot worse.
Hopefully have it in paint this weekend.
