IIRC, the FSM is same for 40 & 55, there is just a chapter in the Body and Electrical section for the 55 nuances.
Hunting might be better in the 40/55 section...

I'll poke around some more on Mud, thanks. If I find it I'll post for the next mudder. TrollHole had it in his list of FSM's but apparently the links no longer work. FSM's
I have a 1970 FJ40 as well as a 1971 FJ55. I have the chassis and body for my FJ40, wanted one for the FJ55. I wanted to look over the front axle section to get a better idea of how the shocks tie into the front axle, guessing it should mirror what the FJ40 has. I'm thinking the mounts I have on the FJ55 axle are bent...I'll try to post some photos.
I wanted to have the full FSM for general reference as well.

Thanks WarDamnEagle. I will eventually pay the SOR piper for something else...glad it didn't have to be for the FSM!
