This is an honest original 1970 Toyota JF40 truck. It was purchased new in Prineville Oregon and has been in town since new. It has been a great truck and driven daily until the past year when the owner started to do a refresh on the engine. He then decided to get a new truck instead and sell the FJ40. I bought it this past year and was ready to do get this cool original truck back on the road again, but at the same time my wife and I are building a shop/home in Central Oregon, so I am selling to truck to keep funding the new build.
The odometer says 40,378.6 on it, that could be the original miles, or it could be 140,378 I honestly don't know which it is. There is a nice winch that goes with the truck. The truck has a great original look, it will make someone a nice winter project and lots of fun once you get it back on the road. It has always been a Prineville Oregon truck with great history, you will have a gem of a truck when you get it running again, could be a nice father/son or father/daughter project to do together, which I have done with our kids on different cars, this has proven to be good for all over the years.
