Finally got 1970 FJ55 shipped from my brother's in CA to GA. (He couldn't give it to me until his divorce was final) He gave it to me free of charge, just had to pay for shipping. He bought it in mid '90s in AZ the way it pretty much looks now with exception of having his local high school replace the straight 6 with an '87 IROC TPI 5.7 motor. I'm looking for an orginal grill 1st then eventually swap out rest of Toyota drivetrain for Chevy; transmission, transfer case, and axles.

Ok Caveman I has so many questions about the pig but first please tell us how you bolted a two post lift to the dirt floor.
Lots of voodoo magic going on in this picture..

There is 6 inches of concrete under that GA red clay dirt. I have a '14 JKU Rubicon, another brother with '06 LJ, and some friends with offroad vehicles that use my lift from time to time. No matter how good you clean them, once on lift, dirt falls out. Lol

Been busy working on my other projects but I have gotten a few parts for my '70 FJ55 and some pics. Installed the correct grill and headlight rings for starters. Fixed clutch and brakes so I can move it easily in and out of my shop. Contemplated on leaving front lower fenders off for a real ratty look but finally got some rust repairable front fenders along with a dash pad and rear seat assembly. Oh yea, replaced and got working rear tailgate handle.
