I don't know if it runs. Clear title in my name. Original drivetrain; 3 on the tree

I think it will depend from condition. If engine looks live (or could be a live), floor without holes, frame good try start sale from 3K..
but my guess it is a top maximum for this fj40. (just remember it is a guess)

Who cares if it runs? F engines are cheap. There isn’t a straight body panel on it and it’s got tons of rot covered by bondo. That’s where the money comes in.

I have scraped nicer trucks. The body is shot. Running f engine is worth very little. A 3 speed t case and trans I sell for next to nothing, axles I toss. 500.00-800.00

In NY...

While there are no exemptions for vehicle safety inspections. Some vehicles are exempt from emissions inspections depending on the age or type of the vehicle. Emissions exemptions extend to:

• Vehicles less than 2 years old.
• Vehicles older than 25 years old.
• Vehicles registered with historical plates.
