It’s a super cool Cruiser man, I would daily drive it!

The last 10-20% in a build always seems to take the longest.

I am going to try out some Chinese pizza cutters on the steelie pictured above. Trying both a 35x10.5r17 and a 35x11.5r17 and we will see which the owner likes more. These are “Venom Power Terra Hunters” haha! 😂

The Cruiser is going to the interior shop in about a week. So we have been doing a bunch of wiring and such to get it ready for that.

These are Specter door checks, seemed best match to stock for the aftermarket out there.

I think this is what we will be running, waiting for a confirmation from the owner. Not this tire but this size.

So these are OEM Toyota steelies, FJ Cruiser, GX, Taco, Tubdra, ect. 6 on 5.5, 17”x7.5”, I measure them at 4.5” of backspacing. They are super cheap online from various sources. The front axle is a 40-series housing, later version with 60-series from the knuckles out. We are running Marlin high steer but the tres and steering arms just barely clear the wheels. 80-series tres too. Full lock we clear leaf springs to tire scrub.

I went ahead and bought x2 wheels and these 10.5 and 11.5 tires to check everything myself right here on this Cruiser. We will also flex it up with a forklift but worst case scenario I see is very small wheel spacers, we actually grabbed some 3/8’s to check if needed. Next week we will flex it up and see!

Toyo makes a sweet 35x10.5r17 we wil likely run.

Superbest number 1 most service glorious tire!

Brother this truck is incredible. I’m building Sancho with my boy. We’re trying to find a set of hooks for our tailgate. We of course got the latches that bolt to the actual tailgate, but need a source for the hooks that bolt to the bed and protrude through the tailgate. Any ideas?

The 37’s pretty much clear, we will have to do a little but not much for them to not rub ever.

The Cruiser is heading to the interior shop this afternoon. 🤩🤙
