Matt, is the Rad support mounted for good? I have a Repro of the screen that goes across at the top if you want it.

Also a set of Hella Horns would look cool in the engine bay.

And I spent 4 hours staring into a media cabinet glass beading nuts and bolts........Just as much fun as seam sealing.....

Keep up the good work.

Rad support is mounted solid. Screen is still behind the condenser, just can't see it.

Still looking forward to that care package ;)

wow, that center console looks great!! are you gonna put a pad on top?

Of course, gotta bust out the sewing machine again for that one! Probably be towards the end of the project, just not needed right now.

The wood wheel on the clear-coated column is major :grinpimp: ...good taste, good build, good luck down the stretch!

<sigh> envious of your skills and this truck.

Wow! Nice work. I wish I could work half as fast as you do.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Nothing earth shattering today, pretty much all blasting and painting. About a solid 8 hours in on the lv today.

Started off the day sandblasting. Blasted the rear heater parts, seat frame and a few other misc. things. Hung everything up in the booth and sprayed with epoxy primer and single stage ureathane. I sprayed a couple coats of ureathane primer on the center console, front bib and seat frame. I plan on sanding those out another coat or 2 before paint.

Also installed a drain in the radiator. Took a pic of the radiator cap area...wondering if anyone knows what cap I should be looking for to plug an aluminum radiator from MAF?

Hoping to sand and prime some more tomorrow and during the week.

Forgot, last pic reminded me.

I took apart the headlight assembly out of the old bib since I was going to blast those parts and get them cleaned up. We'll keeping true to the jist of the vehicle, one of the headlight assemblys was bent up  I guess I should have figured that since the bib was bent up also and I'm not using the orginal.

Anyway, does anyone have a complete headlight assembly to sell? Also looking for another chrome ring since I am missing one? I guess I would buy 2 complete assembly's since it's probably easier to take them out that way?

Anyone?

Thanks, Matt

If you can fit the 72-78 headlamp you can get brand new assemblies, with Koito sealed beams, for about 36 bucks a piece.

Dan

I've got 2 used sets coming from Poser, should have them tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion, still might end up doing that.

Did you get the other parts request I PM'd you last night :) Love to get that other stuff coming if you can get it?

Thanks, Matt

I'm trying to catch up on PM's now. I got a bunch over the weekend.

About 3 hours tonight, although it doesn't look like much.

Installed the freshly painted brake booster and MC, couple other small parts also.

The majority of the evening was spent block sanding out the bib, center console and a few scratches on the seat frame. Hit them all again with a couple coats of ureathane primer. Should be blocked out again tomorrow and then 1 shot of epoxy and they should be ready for paint.
