No, the father in law doesn't want a whole lot to do with the sewing. He helps a bit with the seam ripper tearing the old ones apart and a few other misc. things.

We have plenty to keep us busy though ;)

those look great man. Top notch work

Fired up the Martha Stuart sewing factory early this morning :) Everything went pretty good.

We started the day working on the 2 bucket seat backs. Got those done by about 1 or 2 this afternoon. The girls starteed working on the rear bench while I started re-covering the bucket seats and hog ringing in them in. That went ok until I got to the new 79 seat foam I ordered from SOR. If you read a few pages back I commented on how much larger it was than the orginial. There was no way in hell the orginal size OEM covers were going to fit over that. I would have literally had to rip about 4+ inches to get it to fit. And after pulling on it so hard that it looked like the seams were going to blow apart I quit. So, I fixed up the original driver one pretty well, had to cut out some foam and adhesive in some new stuff. But got it looking pretty decent. Had to transfer the heat pad over from the SOR foam, but that didn't take to long. Needless to say, no more foam from SOR.

Rear bench covers took a while. A lot of pleats and they are extremely long, so it required several hands to feed them through the machine. But, we took are time, everything seemed to turn out really nice.

Anyway, few pics of the action today and some completed product. :)

Oh, and by the way........I personally sewed every stitch this weekend in all the seats :grinpimp: I only mention that because I'm pretty proud of that. I do have to say though, most of the work is in the girls seam ripping, making patterns and getting everything ready to go, I'm just labor ;)
