No affiliation. Further away than I wanted to deal with, so figured I'd pass it on.

Talked with the seller and it sounds like it's fairly unmolested. Claims very little rust. Has been parked for the past year, but was driven regularly before that. He said he lost his craigslist link, so hasn't been able to update the ad with pics or fix the year.

Here's a few pics he sent me.

Well my fellow MUD enthusiasts, it looks like I have just bought my first 45, what a great one it is. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Will keep you posted on the numbers and better pics after I get it home....;)

Holy crap, had I checked in earlier i would have snagged this one.

Congrats, let me know if something doesn't work out! Can't wait to see other pics!

TNX you guys I will be picking it up soon and getting it home from Az. Finding out all about it, many good things it has, been in the desert for 10 plus years and very little if any rust that will have to be repaired. Just a good ol driver and that is what is going to happen, as we say good to go...

Thats awesome! Nothing like the waiting period before getting a 45! Looks like they used a donor late model 40 to update the old girl, looks well done! No more piecing one together!! Congrats:beer:

TNX Whitey you are right still going to finish building the current project. Been working with the caretaker of the ranch it is on in Arizona. It did have a late doner78 not sure on the total conversion we know it has a 78 engine. However it was don nicely and will be a great rig to drive and enjoy. I have been told basically no rust and the pics to verify that, it has been on the ranch for 13 years and before that is not clear hopeful that I can research where it came from. Help from the MUD section would be helpful in where to start going. Current owner has had many 40-45s not clear how many he has now. And yess the waiting to get it is killing me...;) Skip

Just got this beauty home early part of the week, It had been parked for at least a year and had to do the usual fuel, fuel lines, carb and a master cylinder clean up. However after I got it running BTW on the first try I wheeled it over I took it for a run around the property in first gear W/O brakes. What a beauty she is just what I was looking for. An older resto with surface rust that can be fixed with tender loving care, Yes she is a runner and as soon as I get the new master brake cyl on Tuesday I will be enjoying the opportunity of being a 45 owner in touring around town and wheeling. Happy Boy I am...;)
