Some progress made. Sections of engine mounts have been rough cut. The plate section that will bolt to the block as well as the adapter that will bolt to the original engine mount frame brackets. As of right now, it looks like the original mount brackets will not have to be cut off. AC compressor should fit, will definitely have to figure out a way to relocate oil filter. Got a bellhousing from Dellow that mates UZ series engines to H series transmissions.

My how time flies...I have FINALLY made some progress. As the saying goes, excuses are like a**holes, everyone has one and they all stink. I had to go back and see what the last photos I posted were. Since I started this, here are some of the "excuses" I have: started "state highpointing", now 37/50 done; lots of other hikes as well; bought a 1991 2WD pickup with a rod hanging out of the side of the 22RE (no problem, had a spare engine in the garage), bought a 93 2WD 4Runner roller to make into a trail rig (haven't done much with it yet), got my 89 2WD pickup stripped down for a 1UZ swap, did a complete overhaul of the 5S-FE in my 95 Camry, installed a 4.7 gear in the transfer case of my 85 4Runner...then completed a 1UZ/R150f swap in it; in process of an EEC-V EDIS 5.0 swap from a 97 Exploder into my 67 Mustang (not too far from firing it up); bought a 2003 Mustang V6/T5 in 2024 for a song - kid and his dad were shooting parts cannon at a no start issue, a few hours with a multimeter and test light revealed a failed ECM; anyway...thought I would share a few pics of my progress. The guy who sandblasted the frame did a fantastic job...he had it done within 2 days after dropping it off.
