butch.. mine had/has the tire carrier under it. there are 2 sizes of taillights. Not all have the swingout.

WE need to eventually mold the rear window gaskets..

Thank you for the pictures. carryon. Will dig for intake when I get to moving tools etc. Yours if you pay UPS store boxing and shipping fee.

Oh, and with so much of it in original condition, I would keep it stock too.
But, if that's not what you are after............she's yours now.

I built up my 67 all stock and will probably get a mid 70s to actually modify and mud...

Somebody added that hook on the bed side...
Nice find and very nice shop......what kind of music ya'll do?
Are the rubber on the rear windows good?
If so take care they are unobtanium......
Question for the x perts. I have basically the same truck, did all of these come with the tire carrier? mine has none and I have not looked for signs of filled holes and such....mine has larger tail lights which the tire carrier would block???.....

Chances are your's is little newer truck. Tail lights were on the rear of the frame at first with a rear tire carrier. Then the tail lights moved into the back corners of the bed with a tire care being moved to underneath like the LWB models.

Rear window weatherstrip

I'm interested in helping/paying for some kind of production of this stuff.

I've been searching for a long time and the only solutions that the glass shops have offered is cutting out the back and welding a minitruck rear slider window in:frown: Thats not gonna happen!

Keep me posted please..

oh yeah, that shop is way nicer than the 8X8 room I live in here in San Diego:frown:

It's your rig, so of course, do whatever you like. I'm just saying, there are rigs out there that would be vastly improved with the list of mods you've given; brakes, lift, body repair, paint. However, this rig will not be improved. They are only original once as the tired out saying goes, but that's the truth. No way a shiny paint job, bigger tires and disk brakes can make that rig better. The only thing that can make it better would be to make it roadworthy with what it already has. Just my opinion...

Im with ya man, don't get me wrong.

But....
1. The paint on the rig is not all original.
2. The brakes are not safe as is.

Trust me, I will not chop and hack this thing up. My cruisers in the past have all been done awesome.

Here is one I did last year.

There are some hack jobs out there, but don't worry this FJ45 will be well cared for. :-)

A few more updates here.

First, there were several people messaging or asking about the rear interior paneling.

Here it is:

Now I have a few questions.

First, what is this on the hood ornament?

FJ45004.jpg

Why isn't there a date data tag on the door frame??

FJ45011.jpg

What are these hooks?

FJ45009.jpg

Are the tail lights the same as the bib lights (minus the color)?

Is this carb OEM?

Thanks guys!

I appreciate the feedback and help.

See ya,

I have the same carb on mine and when it started puking gas all over, most people told me it was junk and to chuck it but I got a $25 rebuild kit at NAPA for it and it runs smooth as butter now. I did have trouble tracking down a part number for it, but if you need it let me know.

johnnyc's got it right! i will never take down the three on the tree off of my 67.... 2.5 lift and disks, keep the rest stock! good lookin' truck!

The thing on the hood ornament is probably where it contacts the roof when the hood is fully opened and tilted back.

A little piece of coolant hose, split and latched onto the lip of the roof does the same trick and probably a little better.
