So, I've got an engine, I ve got an early alternator, I've got one of the f engines alternator mounting brackets for a low left alternator location....but now....what do I need to do for voltage regulation and functionality of the dash idiot light?
 
Playing around with getting shift linkages just right.
I think my rear prop shaft will be long enough as is. The rear is sitting pretty proud on the new springs...once it settles things should be a bit better.

Can I use the easier to find, later rear drums with the larger hub diameter hole in the center, with the smaller diameter axle "hub" flange(?)?

As I thought from all the heating and beating it took to get the drums off it two years ago...they aren't round anymore.
