Been driving it the last weeks.
Transmission sounds terrible, a rebuild or replacement will need to happen at some point.
Not liking the fuji carb, will likely replace that with an oem.
No prop shaft issues.
All in all pleased.
Started shopping for a frame and title for it too.

One of them I posted pictures of shortly after joining mud. Not sure where to find them. Jim @Cruiser_Nerd probably could find them. Here is the insides of the other two. Can tell the first gear on the one is better than the other. The only one is in as good a shape as the good one. None had any rust issues.

Latest parts cruiser came with an alternator, that I think im going to throw at it....advance part marts bench test says it makes power, so why not?, after some more fluff and buff.
Have accrued 3 or 4 of the early starters, hopefully able to find or make one fully operational from the lot.

What are you running now and are you using the charging idiot light? Not sure if that alternator will work with the original VR (that was used with a generator I think through early ‘63) that has the switching for the idiot charging light.
