This afternoon I trimmed the bottom of the inner fender to allow the steering shaft to pass under it. Not much picture worthy for the hours of work spent 🤷🏻‍♂️ And a pitiful picture at that!

It has been a little while since my last post. A lot of little progress projects. I have had to wait on parts delivery to finish the steering setup. I made a bracket to stabilize the bottom of the column. It will mount to and behind the column surrounded at the base of the column and will be seal with the factory foam weather seal. I will use a T-bolt clamp to secure it to the column.

When I installed the upper double D u-joint it became apparent that I needed to get the new cast iron headers on order. The upper joint was rubbing the stock exhaust manifold. The new header fixed both issues I was having on the drivers side. Now the exhaust system will connect and there is plenty of room for the upper u-joint.
